This was the only place we were able to book a room in Puerto Madryn. It seemed clean, and said breakfast was included. Everything was fine until we booked out excursions through Chalten travel instead of through the hostel, at which point Glady became less friendly. We almost didn't get breakfast one morning as it took half an hour to be served despite sitting there from when breakfast was meant to start. Breakfast is basic. Fresh bread and butter with jam, and a coffee.

Had a good time in that Hostel. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other hostels. Location is ok, walkable distance to the bus terminal. The hostel is very safe, the door is always locked. They are helpful espcially for planning trips. I did for example a full day trip to peninsula valdes, which I strongly recommend.

Great location, 2 blocks from the beach, about 10 from the bus station. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The bathroom and rooms were really clean. The double room was nice and was quiet. The dorm was a bit noisy as there is an interior patio and we could hear tv from other room. We stayed a week as we felt at home here. The breakfast is simple as in most places amnd finishes at 9.15am but the kitchen is well stocked and big enough. There is a supermarket and butchers across the road and a panaderia nearby. There is an outdoor terrace upstairs however difficult to get out to as its blocked by chair and pots. Overall it was a nice place and they provide information on tours, rent a cars etc.. we rented our car with their recommended company and it was brought to the door for us which was handy. Therre are also a choice of gyms across the road. We would definately go back again!

On short notice this was the cheapest option we could find for three adults in one private room. Location is more than fine, the facilities are sparse but OK. The daughter of the hostess was very nice and friendly; the hostess herself is really doing her utmost best to please you and try to sell stuff at the same time. She told us it was no use to go to the Peninsula for two days as there was no wildlife left at the time of year, better to book a one day tour with her instead. Once she found out we were going anyway, she recommended car companies, but by that time we did not believe her anymore and chose a different path...

We found this an 'average' hostel. The location was great, and the room and facilities standard and clean. The breakfast was simple, and adequate. Gladys was helpful about local activities, although a bit derisive about our plans to stop in Pyramides when touring Peninsular Valdes (which was unfounded). Perhaps our feelings are reflected in that we tried a different hostel on our return to Puerto Madryn.

Excellent location - you really can't ask for better - and the best price in town (Puerto Madryn is relatively expensive). Good amenities (wifi, bathrooms, kitchen) and a supermercado nearby. Easy walk from the terminal. Great advice from Gladys on tours and activities, but always a good idea to ask around town. Slept well here; four nights in all. Great coffee for breakfast!

Room Tip: The dorm near the street can be noisy; ask for upstairs if it's available.

Although there's nothing 'great' to say about this hostel, it's reasonably well located and a good place to stay while touring Peninsula Valdes. The hostel staff were helpful with booking a tour for us, but you could see that being nice didn't come naturally to the owner as she managed to put a negative spin on most things, until we were about to leave, where she insisted we write a review online. Not sure if it was because it was very busy, or just the norm, but we felt fairly uncomfortable as soon as we arrived and were told we couldn't do anything in town because it was a long weekend. As we soon found out, nothing was a problem at all and the long weekend had no impact on our stay whatsoever.
If I was to return to Puerto Madryn, I'd try a different hostel.
