We ate here on our 2nd night in San Martin. The previous day we had a pizza at a resto on the lake and it was so huge we didn't eat an evening meal - just had icecream! Our B&B (Casa de Eugenia - yet to write review but it's coming!), recommended Dona Quela and they were right!
Lovely interior with friendly, knowledgeable staff and great food. We shared a starter - one of the other diners mentioned this would do two people (!) - can't recall it's name but it was pickles and meat - rabbit and deer, garlic, onions, peppercorns and carrots - delicious! Our mains were good as well - steak and chicken with squash. The desserts we had were tiramisu and a chocolate volcano - good to look at and wonderful to eat - highly recommend this place.
