My wife and I spent four nights at this family-run hotel and everything was excellent. It is a new hotel with excellent location and view of the lake below. The service was excellent and the warmth and attention to our needs was equally exceptional. The continental breakfasts were more than adequate and the management was very helpful in advising us on our exploration of the city of Barilochi, the tours available, and locations to visit with a car rental. We recommend this hotel in every respect for any traveler to Barilochi. A bit of advice: Take a taxi to and from the hotel as the streets are quite steep. The taxis are cheap by the way and being older travelers they were a must for us.

I travelled in Argentina last year and this was one of the places I've stayed! The view from any room is great, facing the Nahuel Huapi lake. The propietariors are very hospitable, the building is small and has some 15 rooms - very cozy, stylish and elegant. All the decorations, furniture and the bed were very comfortable! Definitely will stay there my next trip to Bariloche:)

Stayed here for 5 nights in early January 2009. The hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. The room was quite big with a very comfortable bed. The name of the hotel is very apt as it has the most amazing view of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and the mountains behind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bariloche! The only problem I had was finding the website to book...so here it is http://www.viewhotel.com.ar/

After driving thru the madness of downtown Bariloche - we couldn't believe how crowded w/ tourist the downtown was during the off-season! - were so happy upon arriving at this very quiet hotel. It is on a residental street and sits upon a slight hill so every room has lake views. They were still working on the garage but should be done by now for their summer. But don't worry, there is plenty of street parking. This cozy new hotel is perfectly located, just a safe 5 minute walk to the very center of town.

The lobby has a welcoming modern fireplace and dining room had great lake views. The room was small - fine for us as we were out all day- and cozy and with Ikea-like furnishings. The bed was super comfortable and had a simple sheet and fleece blanket - a first for us - but it beats a cheap chintz coverlet anyday! The shower was also nice and modern.

The rooms were kept on the warmer side, so one evening we opened the window wide to cool the room a bit when we came in. Later that night we realized about two dozen mosquitos had decided to join us. We didn't feel like spending the night with them so we made use of the tourist brochures...Our advice is do NOTopen your window too wide unless you want some exercise swatting mosquitos after dinner.

Breakfast was simple w/ toast, croissants, preserves, and juice but had the best coffee in Argentina - just enough fuel to start your day.

The welcoming owner speaks good enough English but is humble about it. He speaks it better than his correspondence indicates. Most of their clientel are Spanish speakers.

We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bariloche(the lodging right in the noisy town center looked very old and tired but we don't know about the interior).

We have spent a week in Bariloche and found this hotel through the internet. The hotel is very new, operating only a few months.
It is a small hotel, with only a few rooms and, I think , some apartments will be added.

The rooms are simple, but nicely decorated and offer a magnificient view. From our room you had a perfect view on the lake and the mountains.

As the porperty is managed by the owners, they offer a nice service with a personal touch.

The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are excellent dining options close by. Steak houses, Mexican Food, etc.
To the city center it is only a ten minute walk. There you have plenty of dining options.
To the Bus connecting the city with the ski area it is only a 3 minute walk.

Free wireless internet.

On the downside, the walls of the hotel appear to be thin, so you might hear some noise from the other guests.

Overall we recommend this hotel, as it is has a young design, good location and offers an excellent cost/benefit ratio.
