Disappointment at Pudu Hostel
One night during our stay, the guy (Thomas) who worked 6 days a week at Pudu Hostel had a little too much to drink and tried to kiss my girlfriend. Hardly, professional or respectful, I'm sure you'll agree.
On checking out, I told Thomas that I wasn't happy with what had happened the night before. He played dumb to the entire episode, showing little regret.
He added that maybe my girlfriend and I had a strategy to try and get a reduction on our stay. In the end he knocked 400 peso off our 1600 peso bill. It wasn't really about the money for me, more to do with his lack of a sincere apology.
Also, the morning after, Thomas woke up at 10.45am to serve the brekfast. Now, breakfast time was 8am-10am and one of the other guests had to go into Thomas' room and wake him up. We had brunch that morning.
As a women, maybe give some serious thought before you book a night at the Pudu Hostel.
