About a 2 hour drive through beautiful scenery gets you to the River Manso for the start of the rafting experience. We did the full day trip which comprised a light breakfast on arrival; a lunch (huge grill etc for 100 pesos per head extra) and a couple of hours rafting. All gear supplied - wetsuit; splash jacket; helmet, shoes and lifevest). The guides were excellent... lots of good instruction and it was fun. Very safe (they have a fun guy in a safety boat - a kayak- who proceeds the rafts down the rapids, does lots of tricks which relaxes everybody and helps rescue those who go overboard!). Rapids were good... levels 3/4/4+ - challenging and scary enough without being terrifying!!! On the two boats of 18 people only one went overboard (twice)! Trip ends up just into Chile.. Have done rafting before - this is very well done.
