“Great Fun. Extremely well organized. Great day out.”
Reviewed 21 November 2012

About a 2 hour drive through beautiful scenery gets you to the River Manso for the start of the rafting experience. We did the full day trip which comprised a light breakfast on arrival; a lunch (huge grill etc for 100 pesos per head extra) and a couple of hours rafting. All gear supplied - wetsuit; splash jacket; helmet, shoes and lifevest). The guides were excellent... lots of good instruction and it was fun. Very safe (they have a fun guy in a safety boat - a kayak- who proceeds the rafts down the rapids, does lots of tricks which relaxes everybody and helps rescue those who go overboard!). Rapids were good... levels 3/4/4+ - challenging and scary enough without being terrifying!!! On the two boats of 18 people only one went overboard (twice)! Trip ends up just into Chile.. Have done rafting before - this is very well done.

“Excellent day”
Reviewed 28 February 2011

Signed up for the rafting / horse riding combo. Both sets of guides very professional, safety-aware and ensured a very enjoyable day for all. Food excellent. Even the drive to the campsite was beautiful! Worth it.

“Thanks, Punto Limite team for a great day.”
Reviewed 7 January 2011

You can't come to Bariloche and not try riding the white water rapids of Rio Manso. It's a stunning river just right for tourist rafting, and Punto Limite made sure it was as much fun as possible. There were three rafts on the day we chose to go, and I'm pleased to say our boat stayed upright on the trickiest water. Team work is the key to success. It was exhilaratingly scary. The Punto raft guides were fun and it helped that their orders on the boat were barked out in both English and Spanish. Lunch was great, and while the post-lunch horse riding was just a simple trail ride, it was through some stunning country. A great day.

“Great experience!!”
Reviewed 28 April 2010

I am from Argentina currently living in Chicago. I took 9 of my friends to do the Half Rafting - Half Horseback riding day experience. It was awesome! They picked us up on time., rafting was really exciting, they cooked us a huge barbecue with wine and then the beautiful and very scenic horseback riding. The whole staff was also great, really friendly and organized. I strongly recommend this.

“White water rafting in Bariloche”
Reviewed 11 January 2009

The company is providing day rafting trips and 2-days horseback riding.
The rafting trip (Class 3-4) that we did was outstanding: the pick up was on time (from our Hotel in Bariloche), the instructor spoke English, we traveled by bus for approx. 1.5 -2 hours to the river (El Rio Manso) and the rafting time was approx. 2-2.5 hours. We arrived to the Chile border (you are literally standing with your right leg in Argentina and your left one in Chile) and, after a 15minutes drive back to the rafting's starting point, an "asado" dinner was waiting for us. The dinner is not included, but don't skip it - it was delicious and very much needed after all the hard work that we put on the river. :) (the dinner cost was 30Peso per person + drinks).

We got back to the hotel later than expected (we were supposed to be back by 8PM), but the whole experience was so much fun, so we didn't mind it at all. During the ride home we watched the most spectacular sunset that the mountains can offer.

We booked the trip via our hotel in Bariloche.

A special word about our rafting instructor - Santiago, who is also a ski instructor during the winter season: he is funny and cute, attentive, has a lot of experience with international tourists, speaks ENGLISH. The usual safety kayak accompanied us and the photographer did a great job of taking photos, which were offered for purchase on a CD for only 50 Peso (he gave us a CD on the spot).
