Made a special trip out because saw venison stew on menu on previous visit and this is something you don't find everywhere. But what was served was dry cubes of meat over spatzal in a watery brown sauce. No carrots or onions in the mix. Or potatoes. Forget it. There was a tour bus group eating nearby and this food seemed suited for the once and goodbye crowd. Maybe I just picked the wrong thing on the wrong day.

Found little secret via a personal recommendation and what a great find. Called in for a refreshing cerveza and stayed forma great meal. Fantastic service, beer and food. Not like the rest of the commercial heart of Bariloche- but well worth a visit

A beautiful brew pub located somewhere in Circuito Chico.
Excellent beer and food and amazing staff.
Don't drink too many pints or you're not going to be able to ride your bike again!

Our group visited Gilbert's for lunch while touring the area west of Bariloche. We really enjoyed the food (down home Argentinean) and craft beers. We got to see the brewing process and learn how to make an empanada. The place is rustic and set amidst some gargantuan trees. Worth a visit.

Gilbert's is a great little restaurant just a tiny bit off the beaten path. We stopped here for lunch and several artisanal beers during our day long bike ride. We were clued into the restaurant by the owner of Cordillera Bike who suggested Gilberts as a place a bit less touristy to get a bit to eat along the Circuit.

Very peaceful place with good food, very good beer and a funky eclectic potpourri of decorations.
