“Great value, quiet location, great lake views, 20 km from downtown towards Llao Llao”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2011

Very nice small boutique hotel on quiet San Pedro Peninsula with terrific lake views. GREAT VALUE. It is about 20 km west of downtown Bariloche (towards Llao Llao) - location and quiet excellent for us but might be a little far from town for some people. Near Chico Circuit and Llao Llao. Has small water access/beach on the lakefront. Hotel has 11 rooms with 3 (rooms 1, 2, 3) on upper floor and 8 on bottom floor (rooms 4-11). We are staying in room 3 as we write this - a great view. Amenities include restaurant for evening meals and other services, Internet access, common PC, nice shared living room with fireplace and big screen TV, breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, juice, coffee, TV/DVD players and DVD library, board games. Staff is very helpful and sweet - staff consists of a set of 20-something friends from Buenos Aires who have settled down here and live on property and run the place. Rooms are quite nice and modern but not fancy - everything works well, at least in our room. Not a resort but has everything we need. We are runners and we found many km of dirt roads all around the peninsula for us to run on for our early morning runs. Peninsula is ~13 km long (8 miles).

We had a very good experience at this hotel, so much that we decided to stay an extra four days. The hotel is nicely situated atop a hill overlooking the Nahuel Huapi lake, with fantastic sunset views over the lake and mountains. It is located several kilometers out of Bariloche in a quiet area with convenient car access to hiking, boating, sightseeing and dining. We found the hosts Samanta, Pablo and Luna to be very hospitable and customer-focused, the rooms to be comfortable and the common areas to be quite charming as well.

Great hotel away from the hustle and bustle of town and the main lakeshore. The room was cozy and had a stunning view of the lake and snow caped andes on the other side. I could not have picked a more peaceful location for our trip to Barliloche. i dont think you will find a better waterfront value in the area. it is a little too far out for taxi service so rental car is best option here.

Together with my family(2 Adults and 2 Children) we spent 5 days at Peninsula Petit Hotel, a very charming small hotel close to one of the most lake in Bariloche.

The staff are courteous and helpful, probably the best cost savings opportunity in the area.

This was just the hotel for me. This is the feeling some other guests I talked to had as well. The super exclusive hotel has the comfort of a much larger place but the fact that it only has 11 rooms makes you feel special, everybody gets to know you and call you by your name. The place is cozy and has magnificent views of the lake. I will always remember evenings at the hotel's private beach. So romantic! Really do not miss it, discover The Petit.

My wife and I are frequent visitors in the Patagonia area, and we discovered this quiet and cozy hotel by accident, during a stroll over the beautiful Peninsula san Pedro.
After checking the place out and getting to know the young couple that manage it, we decided to move from the hotel we were staying the next morning.
The Hotel is located over the lake and it has a magnificent view from the lobby and rooms.
The service is detailed oriented, but since the place is family owned, they make you feel like you are a guest in their own home.
Prices are more than reasonable.

We stayed here for one night. It is set in beautiful trees right on the edge of the lake. Apart from that, it looks like all the other alpine-style hotels, a bit too much pine for my liking and not a lot of atmosphere. The pastel pink room we had was cute and the bathroom good.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. You'll need a car or taxi to get into town, but then a car is necessary to visit the lake district anyway.

Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel, but quite uninspired. I'd recommend it to a friend for one or two nights, not more.
