Stayed two nights here, coming from San Martin de los Andes and before moving on to Puerto Montt in Chile. Comfortable hotel, very modern, located just outside the shopping district but well within easy walking distance of that. Bariloche is easy to get around, even by car, so it's very easy to use the Quillen hotel as a base to explore the nearby sights like the "Circuito Chico", which I can highly recommend.
My room was not that large, but it was comfortable enough and had a nice partial view of the lake. The bathroom was fine and everything was in working order.
Breakfast was good, varied, and plenty.
The hotel provides free parking in a parking lot next to it - very practical if you're there with a rental car.

I stayed here with my husband and parents for only one night. The location was very convenient and walking distance to everything. At night there was quite a bit of noise - it did prevent my parents from keeping their windows open at night, but for me was no problem. The lake view rooms did have a great view. At night with the blinds open we could actually sit in bed and see the moon over the lake. The breakfast was good - meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, medialunas (like the Argentinian version of a croissant), jams, toast, coffee, tea, juice - great for the price of the hotel. The staff was also very helpful. We got good recommendations on where to eat. The only downsides - the rooms were not all the same, despite booking two of the same rooms. One had a mini refrigerator, and another had a nice (but small) spa-like shower. Nice hot showers all around though. Not a big deal for a one night stay, but good to know if you'll be there longer. The rooms were also small, which again, was not a big deal for one night, but might get a bit cramped for two people for an extended stay.

All in all I would highly recommend this place. It was a great hotel at a great price, and provided everything we needed.

Room Tip: If it's important to you, make sure you ask if there is a refrigerator or spa shower (basically...

The room is very cozy, and well designed.
Plenty of hot water, very clean and soft bed.
The staff is very welcomed and helpful, the nice lady who was at the shift when we checked in helped us with searching a proper place for dinner.
Wifi signal is good
The breakfast is OK-

Room Tip: Ask for a room which is not in the main street

This was an awesome hotel in a great location! After 'roughing it' in El Calafate for 4 days and the Big Ice tour, I arrived in Bariloche just wanting a nice, warm room and a hot shower.

This was definitley perfect! The room was warm and had a great view of the lake. The shower was amazing! It had the rainfall shower head, along with 6 jets on the wall, and a handheld showerhead. This was just what my sore muscles needed after 6 hours of hiking in the mountains and on a glacier.

Breaktfast was ok. It had the basic breakfast that most Argentine hotels do: toast, croissants, cereal, scrambled eggs, juice, and coffee. Nothing spectacular, but it does what it says on the tin.

The hotel is right in the middle of town, so there are tons of great restaurants and shops within minutes. I would most definitely stay here again! I got a great rate on booking.com (about $56 USD/night) and a hotel like this in the states would definitely be well over $150/night.

Lovely decor in the hotel. There was a free glass of wine waiting for us on checking which was awesome since we'd been traveling all day. The room was comfortable, the staff was nice and efficient (which I appreciate as a new Yorker) and the breakfast was good - yogurt, fresh fruit, breads, eggs, etc. the best part was the location. Very close to everything!

Room Tip: Elevator is slow so if stairs are a problem, try to stay on a lower floor.
