My husband and our two young children descended upon this delightful inn just before Christmas. We spent two weeks in Argentina, but all of us agreed that Hosteria Katy was our favorite accommodation! Adriana and her family were warm and welcoming--the minute we walked in the door she identified me by name and gave me a kiss on the cheek--my children later asked me if we had known each other previously! Our room, while a bit on the small side, was spotless, cozy and quite comfortable. Best of all, however was the gracious atmosphere and kindness of our hosts. Breakfasts were hearty and plentiful, and the location was perfect for us--we wanted to be as close to the parks as possible, while still within short driving distances of good restaurants. The grounds of the inn are lovely--our kids had a fine time running around. All in all, a charming and remarkable place--would surely stay there again when next in Bariloche!

We went to Bariloche in July and stayed at hostería Katy because we wanted to do snowboard. We drove from Chile ( puerto Montt ) to Bariloche. The hostel is nice. Rooms are once and clean. But the best part is the service, You feel like home and they treat You as if You were part of their family. I strongly recommend You this place :) price is ok :) Bariloche is very beautiful - a breath-taking place. You cannot skip it!! Put it in your "100 places You must visit" list

The owners speak English, German, Spanish and also Slovenien. The were very helpful, we felt really like home. The rooms were cozy and clean. The hosteria is close to the natural reservation and the lakes. I recommend it a lot.

We are two active senior citizens from Colorado, USA. We spent 5 nights here and were very pleased. Extremely helpful owners and Kirk is a first class local guide. The local grounds and gardens are wonderful and the location lends itself to walks in the area. Good restaurants are within walking distance also.

We went in the lower season and we had the entire hostel for us. The place is run by the owners which made the experience very cozy and familiar but at the same time very professional and respectful. The rooms were perfectly clean and very well organized. We had time to enjoy the amazing garden and the breakfasts with homemade products. The owners were very helpful with their suggestions for the activities. My friend and I hope we can return soon. The only thing to consider is the distance from the town but if you have a car or you decide to take the bus, is very easy to get there.
