Coming out of four days in the Andes,kayaking and trekking, I was ready for some tasty food and quality brews. Manush delivered on both counts. I started with corn soup and the pilsner. If I can;t say it was the best pilsner I ever tasted, that's because I live in Bellingham, Wash. where Chuckanut makes that style to perfection. But this was a darn good lager. Then a pint of brown porter to go with the pollo a la mediterranea. The porter showed a nice head and balance, with chocolate notes in the malt (figures with Bariloche so big on chocolates as well as skiing).
