I didn't stay at this hotel, but I spent an afternoon lingering around it before I had to go on a boat tour. Rested by the fire, had a coffee, and experimented one of the restaurants. I was impressed by how great the service was - by all standards. They even gave me a raincoat before I went on my boat tour.

Hope to go back one day at sleep there.

It is an amazingly beautiful area, hard to describe just how beautiful it is... LOVED the hotel! We stayed in the original part of the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was included and it was fabulous, as we're the views from the dining room. Service was excellent in all areas.

It's winter there now, so the majority of their guests were there to ski, however there wasn't much snow on the mountain and it rained heavily for the better part of 2 days, so there were a lot if kids with nothing to do running around the hotel. Would love to go back in the summer, to do some hiking and boating, and I hear the hotel is magnificent when all the flowers are blooming.

Room Tip: A standard room is very small and may not have much of a view... My husband is 6'3" so it w...

Vicki D Thank you for your words! We must admit, the scenery is breathtaking! But what makes us specially happy is knowing that you enjoyed our service.
You were told right, the four seasons are different, each one has its very special charme, and the flower bloomng is so colourful and intense, that well deserves your visit!
Sorry for the rain, we cannot avoid the nature's call!

Amazing location, beautiful interiors, good food
My only comment is that the rooms (the one I stayed in) have these tiny windows that you have to literally stand at the window to be able to see outside. You have this most amazing view but you cant actually appreciate it when you in your room :-(

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with big windows

Carlita04 Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us.
The Hotel features two buildings and different types of rooms. Surely you've stayed in a room at Ala Bustillo, which is a historical monument. When it was built in the 40s, one of the main architectural tools to protect from the cold weather and keep the inner temperature was the size of the windows. We can not modify the original looks, so, to please those who appreciate frank view, we built in 2007 Ala Moreno, with open view to the Moreno Lake.
Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to clarify!

This is a great place, but you must have reservations. We came there without and had to practically fight with them to let us in. The staff were really snob and nasty about it. Once we made it through, it was a completely different thing: awesome place to have tea, the best facial and massage I ever had. Must see! The only low side: the restaurant was definitely not up to snuff with the rest of the place, it was actually disappointing, although it was good, but not as good as a place like this calls for.

As of your visit, reservations are required. We are happy to know that you were able to enjoy Llao Llao, nevertheless we apologize for the inconveniences with the Security staff at the Entrance. Sorry, again.
And thank you for your words. Hope to receive you again!!

My Husband and I stayed at Llao Llao for 4 days the second week in July.
We had a beautiful suite in the Moreno Wing. The hotel was very nice. However, it would have been a better choice if we were traveling with our children. Also, the hotel shuttle should take guests into town and not just to Mt. Catedral.

Bele1994 Thank you very much for choosing us! Too bad you did not bring your children! We would have pampered them as well...
We want to mention that during the rest of the year we offer transfer into town, but in winter we prioritize our skier guests. Bring you kids next time!

Cheers from Patagonia!

Llao Llao is probably one of the most unique Resorts in South America. Located in a beautyfull Valley overlooking the Lake, there lays the dreamy Palace whit its delightfull pleasures. Its quite expensive, but worth every penny. Great restaurants with splendorous views of the Tronador Montain, a big sallon where it is served the best breakfast on earth ornamentated with huge Chandeliers and agenerous Hall with a balcony where the guests can enjoy the happy hour. Cant forget to mention a heated giant pool and a lot of green or snow space to walk by. They also offer a transfer between every 30 minutes to downtown and another to
their lodge at Cierro Catedral back and forth. The rooms are spacious but not completly protected from the guests noise, specialy those from young and rich skiers that dont mind to disturb even in the quitest moments. Avoid high season and enjoy your room with a view.

Room Tip: Avoid the third floor, unless you are a hobbit.

Mr. Renato B We know you are a discerning traveler...so your words are specially appreciated!! Thank you for you timing...as the winter season is about to start! There is plenty of snow in the slopes, and we are ready to welcome it! The transfer to and from the ski slopes and our exclusive lounge where queues to buy skipasses or rent the equipment are avoided, make a very important difference. And our cafeteria -for guests only- offer a sweet and warm break!
It makes us very happy to read that you enjoyed our Llao Llao.
The four seasons are enjoyable and the landscape really takes the breath away. And we love to pamper and spoil our guests! You'll be always welcome.
