I was booked in a single room so small so tiny and depressing that I can not compare it to anything I ever been in a long time, I think that the YMCA in New York city on 34 Street in the 70's was even better, what can I say, the single room is not fit for human use. And guess what!! The price was $220 pesos a day!! that is U$D 69.00 per night!! An absolute rip-off, I was promise wi-fi in the room but the signal did not have enough strength to rich the room, I was on the first floor!! The breakfast is not worth the trip downstairs, the coffee seems to be filtered through a dirty sock, the croissants a couple of days old. It was winter outside, you would expect them to heat up the place nice, right? Well they don't bother, and I got sick, I had to dress up for bed time, polartecs long johns and a day cap just to not suffer the chilly conditions. It's the pits, they should be shut down, there is so much to complain about this hotels that is not worth the effort. Just don't stay there!! Terrible place.
By the way, they don't accept credit cards, CASH ONLY!!!!
Not only they rip you off but they also evade local (Argentine) taxes!!!

The person who makes this complaint took the bedroom after confirming his reservation for three nights and seeing it himself, and a partner took another one bigger.
Both stayed two nights and enjoyed both breakfasts without any complaint, quite the contrary. On the third day (check-out is at 10:00 am) they went on an excursion, came back at 2:00 pm and let us know that they were leaving the hotel due to a change of plans in their itinerary. When they were told about the fact that they had to pay for the whole day, he got very angry and made a scene at the reception desk. His partner paid for his own stay correctly and apologised for his friend's attitude more than once. He only paid for two nights, not fulfilling the reservation and the check-out time. Of course he knew, from the moment he made the reservation, that the establishment did not accept credit cards, as many other small establishments of the area. An attitude absolutely incomprehensible...

I stayed in this hotel in November for 4 nights with my husband. It's a good basic little hotel with friendly staff. Yes it could do with an update particularly in the bathrooms, but on the up-side is you get lovely Mamuschka Chocolates left on your bedside table when you arrive! I didn't find the hotel noisy but then we made sure we had a room facing the garden at the back.

La Pastorella is centrally located (lot of traffic during the all day)
The rooms and bathroom were very small.
Additional rooms were under construction. We could not open the window because the workers were in our nose.
There are better B&B with excellent view of the lake for the same price (Bustillo Avenue)

Of course it is not a five stars hotel but it is friendly, family-run location with good and clean rooms. It is good value for Bariloche and people are helpful if you need asistance in organizing excursions to the national park

La Pastorella is a small B & B type accommodation a few blocks away from the centre of Bariloche.

The accommodation was basic and clean but fairly dated and small.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was basic but fine.

Slightly overpriced for what it is at 99 pesos, but if you are stuck this is fine for a couple of nights.
