Stayed here during off season and had a beautiful room right on the lake. The hotel was very empty so we enjoyed having the amazing pool and hot tub to ourselves. Surprisingly, the restaurant by the pool was very good. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

The Hotel Cacique Inacayal is situated on Lago Nahuel Huapi. Rooms are spacious and those facing the lake have great views. There is free internet on the main level. The breakfast buffet is a lot better than most, and the decor makes you feel like you're more in a restaurant than self service buffet. Service was excellent. Bariloche is known for chocolate, and the Chocolate Museum is close to the hotel. It's a short walking distance to Centro Civico and the Cathedral. I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the lake. It will have a great view and will be quiet.

We stayed here two nights on our lake crossing tour. We arrived on the first night at 9:30pm due to Bariloche airport closed and we had to come by bus from Neuquen 6 hours.

The hotel was a bit of a ghost town very hard to find someone to get something to eat and drink. We had a twin room which was a good size we had a large window that you could open over looking the lake. Free WiFi. Some lovely areas to sit in the hotel. Yummy chocolate left at night.

It was about a 10 minute walk into the main town. Gas station opposite that you could get supplies.

We are a family of four from England and stayed at this hotel for eight nights on a ski trip to Bariloche,Patagonia. The hotel is only five years old,and a few of the staff speak good English.Greeting upon arrival is courteous and warm, and check-in is speedy and efficient. The rooms are spacious and clean, but make sure that you get a room at the back of the hotel, overlooking the Lake. There are two reasons for this-1,the views are spectacular 2, you really don't want to be at the front,as the noise at night from teenagers leaving the club/disco next door will probably ruin your holiday. For some reason the local planners have allowed a very nice four star hotel to be situated right next door to a gaudy, noisy club that throws out it's clientelle at around 4.30 to 5am,with all the accompanying shouting and screaming and chanting from alcohol-fuelled Argentine teenagers on their winter break away from their parents. We asked to be moved after several nights of experiencing this ,and were transferred to a lovely lake view room at the back for the second half of our stay.Peaceful sleep ensued, and our skiing improved exponentially, as we weren't nodding off on the gondola the following day due to a lack of sleep the night before! The basement restaurant serves excellent steaks with a flair, aswell as other meals. The Argentine wines are terrific,as they haven't travelled far from Mendoza. The drink and food costs are not expensive and the food is of high quality. The spa in the basement is of a high standard, and attended during opening hours. The pool is approximately 15 metres and clean. There is also a sauna, steam room and large jacuzzi. The hotel was probably less than a third full during our stay in what was peak winter ski season-the reason was because of the volcano in Chile that had erupted 2 months before-hand,dumping a large quantity of ash on Bariloche. This had had an effect on bookings mainly from Brazil(a major winter customer-they love to ski!) as Bariloche airport was closed, and so it was a real challenge to get to the town. We flew to Esquel from Buenos Aires, then a four hour coach journey to the town. As a consequence ,the hotel was devoid of guests. The ash, though ,had not affected the skiing, which was superb! There are plenty of good restaurants in the town, all of reasonable value and the food was consistently good in all that we visited.Overall,a great holiday, and a nice hotel in a beautiful location on the lake-just take note of my comments about room location!

Room Tip: Refuse to have a room at the front of the hotel!

Had a great room right on the lake and the only negative is that we had to keep the window open at nite to get some fresh air as the hotel has no a/c and when the wind howled it had an impact on our sleep.
Nevertheless we loved our stay at Inacayal. It was easy to walk to downtown Bariloche and reastaurants. The breakfast buffet was very complete and delicious. The staff was very nice.
It was an easy drive from the Bariloche airport and the hotel is on the road to most sightseeing areas. I will come back here.

After several sleepless nights in another nearby establishment, we needed to spoil ourselves and spent 3 comfortable nights in this great hotel.

The pool and the hot-tub were great, the food in the restaurant was very good, the room extremely clean and modern (with great wi-fi connection) with a great view.

Very happy with the friendly staff, the view, and the comfort!
