We were highly recommended Los Juncos by our son who had stayed there a couple of years ago. What a beautiful and charming place set in the most stunning scenery. We enjoyed the fabulous food cooked by Gaby who is so charming and humorous. The beautiful Flavia had arranged every detail of our stay so meticulously. Perfect in every way, we were very reluctant departees.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in this lovely and homely posada. Gaby and his great team did a great job to make us feel at home. The view from our room was awesome (room name = Aire)! They were also clean and spacious considering how old but well kept the building is.

The meals were inventive, full of taste and very well presented! Definite value for money!

The garden was lovely aswell and we enjoyed a few "quiet ones" in the afternoons.

Although 20km outside Bariloche we would again have chosen to stay out of town as it is very busy and commercial. There is a regular and cheap bus that runs almost 24/7 and gaby has a card per room. There is a supermarket 50m from Los Juncos where you can "top up" your card and a delighteful rotisserie with delicious empanadas!

Make sure you speak to Gaby about activities aswell. Santiago for kayaking was perfect and white water rafting with "Rafting Advevture" with crazy Martin & Seba was awesome too!

Would highly recommend staying and we would def chose to stay there again whenever we are back in bariloche!

Room Tip: The suite has a better bathroom (only slightly more expensive) but the best view is the one from Air...

We wanted to make our first visit to South America for our three week honeymoon a memorable and intimate occasion. Instructions to our travel agent was to find unique, small, charismatic and homely places in South America. He did not fail us but the absolute gem was our four days in the beautiful Lake District area around Barriloche, staying in Los Juncos. Our room, Soul Suite, was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with stunning views across the lake. Gaby and his mother were perfect hosts who couldn't do enough for us and it was as if we were in our own romantic home. There were other guests (5 bedrooms) but they were great company and also left us alone so that we had our own table in the dining room which was set up for us each night with lovely linen and candles. We were going to eat out but, instead, we ate in every night as the quality and varied range of choice of food and wine was too tempting. We ventured into town on one occasion, using the bus, but we were completely contented relaxing around Los Juncos. Argentina was the highlight of our journey with Los Juncos being the stand out resting place for its ambience and food.

What an amazing place! Just what we were looking for, a charming hotel, comfortable rooms, delicious food, high quality standards, and amazing view of the lake and it's surroundings. The location and it's personal touch (thanks Gaby!) just makes your holiday unforgettable.

We spend a week with my husband at Los Juncos. From the moment of the first e-mail for our reservation, the attention to detail and the amount of information and recommendations we received was second to none. Flavia and Gaby also helped us design the rest of our trip around Patagonia, which places to stay, what to visit, etc.
We had dinner at Los Juncos every night, and the food that Gaby prepares is absolutely delicious.
We will definitely be back !

Room Tip: Stay at Alma (Soul) room.

We spent 4 nights here in mid-October. We chose to stay here in part because of the reviews and in part because we did not want to stay in the town of Bariloche, and feel we made the right decision. Both Flavia (who was not there - and we were sorry not to meet her) and Gaby had given us lots of advice before we arrived on things to do and see. In the end, we decided not to hire a car, but just took the very convenient bus that stops right outside the house. (You should be aware that the bus does not take money and so you have to buy a card beforehand - it would be a good idea to stop at the bus station on the way from the airport to buy one.) The house is delightful and beautifully decorated and the views are stunning. We had the Soul room. On reflection, I think Air might have been a better choice - wonderful view - but the Soul bathroom was nicer. Gaby cooked for us our first night. The meal was very good, but we thought it quite expensive and were surprised not have vegetables or even a salad with our main course fish. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and medialunas. Our first day we walked the 3km to Campanario to take the chairlift up the hill for wonderful views. We took the bus one day to Villa de las Angosturas. A lovely bus ride to a pretty little town - excellent lunch at La Esquiador. We took a boat trip one day to Victoria Island and Bosque de Arroyanes. And another day we took the boat trip to Puerto Blast, which is the first section of the lake crossing to Chile. Both boat trips were lovely and well worth doing. We are grateful to Gaby, Eugenia and Elisabeta for all their help and advice. Can thoroughly recommend this lovely B&B.

We were made to feel right at home at Los Juncos. The lake views from both our bedroom and the dining/living room were amazing! The rooms are decorated nicely with some architectural details and antiques. It's a great location for hiking and the bus stops right in front of the Inn, which was very convenient. After enjoying your day, you can sit outside in their gardens watching the sun set and then have a delicious candelight dinner! We liked the little grocery store 2 doors away, too. They also arranged transporatation from the airport and back again, which was very nice. Highly recommened!

Room Tip: We had the Blue Room, which had 2 picture windows over looking the lake!
