We came here for our last meal in Patagonia. The staff at our hostel called to make an early reservation (7pm) and they came to give a free transfer up there (not necessary really, but still nice). We arrived a bit before sunset to a nearly empty room and got a lovely window seat. Views are wonderful and our waiter was just fantastic. Very nice, helpful and responsive. I got the Patagonia Lamb (dont bother looking at anything else!) and my husband got the steak. Both were delicious and were HUGE portions. Also got a lovely bottle of wine and some really awesome Calafate ice cream. Great value for a $65 meal! At some point the power went out for the entire town (which we could see from up on the hill) and the staff rushed out with candles and joking that it added to the romance. Luckily it was back shortly.
We forewent the transfer back and just walked-- about 15 mins mostly along a dirt road but it was nice to walk after so much food. You must go!
