“Near center, good view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2013 via mobile

This is a very charming hotel, with big rooms and beds, but a small bedroom. The view is very nice, the heating works perfectly and breakfast is fair.

The night from Sat to Sun there was a disco music noise, I cannot tell if it was a party or if there was a disco bar nearby.

I would stay again in future.

the staff of the hotel is totaly demotivated and bored. We met some of them outside the hotel and there statement was “I hate the job”.

the rooms are very small, expensive and with old interior. the free WiFi is a joke, it doesn’t work and the hotel stuff doesn’t take care.

the restaurant in the hotel is probably the worst you can imagine. the taste is terrible, the food cooked to death, the stuff is bored, they do not speek one word in another major language and changed every week.

Stayed here for one night before embarking on trip to Antarctica so was selected for us by tour operator. Modern 'minimalistic' in appearance and rooms, though small were clean and all that you need for one night. Don't think I could have spent much longer though. Nice little bar and restaurant with OK menu from what I can remember.
Short walk into town.

Room Tip: No lift so any mobility difficulties would mean limited to ground floor occupancy.

Rooms where small but clean and functional, plenty of hot water, good food, staff friendly and helpful. If booking with any disability its important to request a ground floor room. All up a good choice and we did the walk into the shops and although a little long plenty to see along the way. Staff at all of the shops helpful and generous with their time. Ushuaia is a very pretty town with country town values. Dont worry if you havent packed enough warm clothes plenty of shops opertate as outlets and prices are very reasonable.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have better views but remember you have to take your cases up yourself although the you...

Small rooms but clean. Restaurant has good views of the area. The location is just a little far to walk to the shopping district but taxis are easy and inexpensive. The food on site is good as is the bar. No elevator which is a problem if you have much luggage. There are no bellman. Hotel is probably used most by people going on an Antarctica expedition needing only a short stay.

I have never seen such rude service before in all my travels in South America. Zoe, the young woman checking us in, was apparently greatly inconvenienced by having to do her job - which amounted to giving us the keys, since we had already done all reservations on line. Her attitude continued the next day when we asked to have our bags checked for later pickup - really shockingly obnoxious behavior - she went out of her way to be rude. She couldn´t manage to charge the room to the credit card we use consistently in our travels - she kept entering the number wrong and insisting it was our card - we kept insisting she try again and it worked. I would avoid this hotel - it is away from the main part of town, the rooms are small, it is expensive and the staff are rude. We loved Hotel del Bosque Apart and wish we had been able to stay with them a second night instead of here.
