Found this listing through Expedia. Had to delay my arrival by one day - no problem. The owners are very kind and gentle. There are two dogs on the property as well who are sweet but bark a lot (I think this is very Ecuadorian since most of the hotels I have stayed with have had this same thing going on :)).

Had a huge room with private bath. Walking distance to town was very short (took about 5 minutes). Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included with the price. The "no problema!" attitude is what really made the difference here. I also like that this hotel was away from all of the backpacker/bars stuff in the center.

Room Tip: There aren't any elevators so if you have a lot of stuff stay in room 2 on the first floor :)

Lovely hotel and grounds. Comfortable accommodations, convenient location and secure parking. Ivan and his family are warm and friendly. They're happy to help with anything you might need. We booked three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent each evening chatting with Ivan, we enjoyed learning about him, his family, and life in Ecuador. It was a real pleasure getting to know him.

We toured the spa that is under construction; it's nearly done and it will be an oasis. Pool, hot tub, cold plunge, treatment rooms, etc.

Breakfast was great with fresh fruit, yogurt & granola, bread and scrambled eggs. Windows offer stunning panoramic views.

We were fortunate to witness Tungurahua erupt, it was an incredible sight to see.

Our only issue was trouble locating the hotel once we arrived, Google Maps does not have it in the proper location, Garmin GPS was unable to locate it, fortunately, booking.com provides GPS coordinates; we were able to find it that way (on Oriente near the firestation, not far from E30).

Very nice spacious rooms in apartment like property. Walking distance to center of town. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast with view. The pool is being constructed, and there is a nice sitting area outside the building.

Enjoyed my stay. Nice, clean room with view of mountains. Short walk to hustle bustle, but far enough where you don't get the noise. Excellent breakfast with beautiful view, friendly owners. Pool not open yet, nor spa - but it's coming. Owners can help with any activity you want to do. Thumbs up!

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time. Jackie and her family run this hotel and they do such a great job! They are so warm and accommodating and made us feel completely at home. Jackie spent lots of time putting together our day and night tours. She called the tour companies, got the information we needed and made all the arrangements for us. They allowed us to use their laundry at a small extra cost and hang our wet clothes from the tours behind the house. The breakfast was prepared fresh on the spot and was delicious. The location of the hotel is a 2 minute walk to the central area where all the restaurants and shops are which was great. When we were there, they were in the process of building a spa so it would be fabulous for anyone looking for a spa treatment right on the property.

I booked in for 3 nights planning to move on to another area, but the hotel was so lovely I stayed another 2. The managers could not be more helpful, calling us taxis and even booking us into the various spa treatments we wanted when the staff didn't speak English and our Spanish was a tad limited.

The room was large and clean and airy, some come with views of the mountains. The food is excellent, fresh varied breakfasts.

I felt like I was staying with my family, so so warmly embrace guests into their home. I could not recommend this hotel more highly

I stayed at this hotel for one night and returned a week later for another four nights. It is a family run place and they can't do enough to make you feel welcome and happy.

It is behind a secure gated wall, and is also in a very quiet location. I had stayed in the centre of Banos and it can be very noisy. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay.

The breakfasts are amazing, I think they were the best I had in Ecuador. Very fresh, and the coffee is great too. The beds are very comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful and quiet break in this awesome town.
