The staff were attentive and keen but poorly trained. e.g. Interrupted conversation to tell us about "the specials. Food pretty good. Red wine is served warm. Invest in a wine-fridge guys for your reds.

Best Harbor View and al fresco Dining Experience in Samoa for many years now. And in April Paddles has introduced a new menu. Luckily the Old Classic Dishes such as "Pork Belly or Lasagne or Pasta Mama Rossi" are still on the menu. But the new dishes, such as the new fish dishes mediterranean or asian style match the highest expectations.
Paddles is run by the italian-Samoan family Rossi and they provide the best of Italian Hospitality in the South Pacific. Because of their consistency: booking a must.
Grazie a Dora et Giovanni et Mama et Papa per l'Italianita in Samoa!

We've been going to Paddles for a long time, enjoying the sunset bay view, the great cocktails, the starters, the superb, generous mains the wines and the sinful desserts. Ultra-fresh ingredients, (so far it's the only top-level restaurant in Apia where we can enjoy Samoan Oka made with freshly creamed coconut), and a great mix of true Italian cuisine and Samoan and international recipes and delicacies. There are great Salads, Pasta, Fish amd Meat dishes on the menu, which they upgraded last week. The quality of the service is exceptional thanks to the highly trained but very friendly and charming staff. On top of which, the amiable care and company of the Italian-Samoan family who have been running Paddles (and the new snazzy lunchtime Milani Cafè in town, with its incredible coffee, salads, paninis and focacce and wraps) for more than half a decade, make us feel, after every single evening we spend at Paddles, like we can't wait to go back. We often cannot resist and do go right back within a few days, as do the many other gleeful regulars who know that Paddles is for us, quite simply, the loveliest night out in Apia.

Paddles is quite a busy restaurant nicely located on the Apia waterfront away from the main centre by about 2km. The food is good value and tasted nice although my pork belly erred towards too much meat and not enough other so it was a bit one dimensional in the taste department. The other four dishes our party ordered were all well received.
