Sadly this was our worst experience of the three hotels we stayed at. We spent three nights. While the room and view was lovely, the service left little to be desired. There was only one cup no milk provided, and the coffee and whitener sachets were all dried out.
The room was never serviced during our stay. The staff came while I was in the shower my husband asked if they could come back. They never did. We came back to the hotel around 5.30pm. We noticed there was no fresh towels and the rubbish had not been collected.
We called the front desk and the gentleman bought up the towels and explained the cleaners were running late. Come the evening there is loud banging slamming of doors and loud laughing.
Next morning we are heading out we are stopped by the lady at the desk to ask if we would like to extend our stay? We told her we had already paid for three nights. She did not respond and walked away.
Final day still no clean towels, rubbish left in room. We got back to room after midnight. While I am packing, receptionist calls and asks what time we are going to check out. She informs me she needs to log this time in.
In there hotel manual they state they clean their rooms daily and check time is 10.00am. It also stated the room service was open at particular times. Each time we called no answer.
We paid cash up front but were made to feel like we had done something wrong. When we checked out the lady didn't bother to ask us if we enjoyed our stay. She only asked if we had ordered drinks then took the key and walked away. Not a good experience.
