I highly recommend C.O.D. Ranch! The vistas are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and hard-working. The food is great too! I would go again in a heartbeat. (I was there for a yoga retreat -- Joyful Hearts Yoga of Tucson is also highly recommended!)

Our church from Show Low, AZ just had our women's retreat at this ranch. I have only good things to say about it, the staff and the food. True, some of the rooms are older - "historic" should give you a clue. But they are freshly painted and clean. We had clean, made up beds and our rooms were decorated. Our ladies loved the quaint, sort of hodge podge way they were spread out along the dirt road but all close to each other. Many had porches that looked out on beautiful vistas. The staff was amazing. I have organized things all my adult life and I can say working with Steve and Eric was a delight. They were so accommodating and gracious. The cooks were wonderful and everything was fresh. Our apple cobbler was made with fresh apples, not canned. Lots of vegis, huge salads, soups, Mexican food night with terrific enchiladas...we were stuffed!

We used the Barn as our main gathering room and it was spacious for our 55 ladies. But it also was small enough to be intimate and they provided coffee and hot water with lots of tea choices and all the trimmings. We added cupcakes and sweets and it made our evening meetings very special.

The pool is old but clean and heated to 80 so swimming on a chilly day was fun. The jacuzzi was awesome...a special touch for a place like this.

One other thing...having looked at lots of packages at other camps, our package included 7 meals, not the normal 5 and we would have had to bring our own sleeping bags and sleep on plastic covered bunks. Here we felt pampered.

This is not a luxury hotel. It is a bit funky and gently worn, in a comfortable sort of way that feels like your favorite old sweatshirt. We will be there next year and our family reunion has a new home!

Room Tip: There are two larger casitas with kitchens which was great. For large groups like ours, some had to...

Just back from a three-day writers' retreat at the C.O.D. Everything was was so enjoyable. The food was fresh, home- made, and plentiful -don't plan to diet while you're here because you won't be able to resist seconds! I need gluten free and I can't believe what they made for me - including desserts. Comfortable casitas with firm beds and fluffy comforters. Great meeting room. Bonfire at night. Hot tub. Gorgeous views of the Galiuro Mts. Hosts taking care of us. Lovely quiet. Starry nights. What more could you ask for?!

I was privileged to spend the day today at the ranch with my coworkers. We had a full day retreat at the ranch. The accommodations were excellent, the food excellent, and the staff was exceptional. Thank you for sharing your beautiful retreat space with us today. I will be back.

The COD Ranch was a perfect get away.
Close enough to Tucson for convenience of travel, yet far out enough to feel isolated.
The staff could not have been more accomodating, and the food was fantastic.
Great place for family reunion, small conference, etc.

My experience at C.O.D. Ranch was nothing short of perfection. What a great place! It is surrounded on three sides by public land, the views are stunning, especially the sunrises and sunsets. the grounds immaculate, the rooms spacious, and the beds comfortable. Most importantly for our group's retreat, the "Barn" in which our group meetings were held, is fully equipped with modern AV equipment, comfortable, and conducive to meaningful meetings in an atmosphere of quiet tranquility. We got a lot done in our time there. And the food was very good, tastefully prepared, and artfully served.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good. It really depends on the size of your group and personal preferences. Do you...
