“Excellent neighborhood restaurant!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Tucson area. Not only is the food great, but the staff treats you like family when you are there.

They have special dinners once a month that celebrate the cuisine of other countries that are simply superb!

Daily specials are always well prepared and food is plentiful. We love Amarsi

“High Price, Low Taste”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

My wife and I dined here on Saturday night, had not been here in a long time, think I remember why now. We started with a salad that was good tasting but light on Gargonzola, walnuts and roasted peppers, lots of Argula. My wife had the calamari which seemed like it was in the freezer to long. Breading falling off and meat kind of dehydrated. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Pasta was fine, sauce was average at best and meatballs were very bland. Really wanted to like this place at it is a local Oro Valley business. The prices are higher than Michaelangelos or Tavalino which are excellent Italian Restaurants, IMO. Atmosphere is nothing special, strip mall restaurant and food is not as good as Olive Garden. Very sorry to write such a bad review but you should do better at these prices. Service was very good.

“Horrible”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

Horrible owner/manager! We took some friend to get a pizza on e Saturday night. We sat at a table top in bar area so we could talk over dinner. When ordering a Pizza (mind you that is $28 a pizza) the owner told us on Friday and Saturday nights we would have to sit at bar and eat...which makes it impossible for 4 to talk. We asked if we could buy 2 entrees and also a pizza. We were then told that "You are sitting in prime real estate and I have to pay my bills, I cant do that with pizza" So we paid our pricey bar bill and walked out...never to return. We asked her what abouot customer service and she walked away...very rude! We also have observed her treating her staff very badly...The word will get out and hopefully we will have a new place there soon...Horrible customer service and with no so good food to boot!

“Service with a smile”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

The wait for an Italian restaurant in our area was worth it. The food is excellent, personnel are wonderful and cheerful. A good selection of wine is of benefit too. Hard to find superlatives for their pizza.

“Delicioso Italiano”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

We enjoyed the restaurant. The portions of the lasagna(about 2 lbs) and the cioppino were large. The drinks were good and the prices were excellent. Our server was very good. All around good family owned restaurant.
