“Beautiful and relaxing stay-cation!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

A group of us stayed at the resort for my sister's bachelorette party. The bellmen were extremely responsive and entertaining (especially Nathan-he rocks!). The property is beautiful and SO charming. Our casita was perfect for the occasion and the views from the deck are PERFECT. We had a slight problem with it being FREEZING in the living room and HOT in the bedroom (but it might have just been a closed vent?). The front desk is responsive and *usually* quick. I would definitely return to the resort!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are delighted to hear that you all had a wonderful time at your sister’s bachelorette party. Glad that our bell staff took such good care of you ladies during your visit. We are very sorry that you were having temperature issues in your room. We will look into this and see if this is a continuing issue. It’s always the greatest compliment when a guest says she would definitely return. We look forward to seeing you again next time you are in Arizona, and be sure to tell your sister congratulations on her upcoming wedding from all of us here at Sanctuary.

The private casita was amazing equipped with a bathtub out on our private balcony! The grounds of the resort were immaculate and quiet. The pool service, food, and drinks were awesome! I had a massage at the spa and it was fabulous. We ate at Elements for dinner and it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten! We ordered room service in the morning and it seriously came in like 5 minutes! Too bad this paradise was only 24 hours for me! I would recommend this resort to everyone I know.

My daughters and stayed 4 days at Sanctuary and have nothing but rave reviews for this adult haven. The infinity pool, surreal landscaping, fitness classes, and top-shelf customer service exceeded our expectations. We have visited spas in NYC, but this one gets the prize. The calming atmosphere and personal service put you in a state of complete relaxation. Definitely recommend Sanctuary, and can't wait to return!

My sister and I went to Sanctuary Camelback Mountain to celebrate my 45th Birthday and I have to say it was one of the best trips I've taken. From the moment you step foot on the resort they take excellent care of you. Each and everyone there from employee to guest were kind and friendly. The villa we stayed in was loaded with goodies and it had the most breathtaking view to wake up to. The grounds were beautiful with amazing walk trails and great picture moments. The customer service was impeccable from poolside, restaurants and concierge. The spa experience hands down was by far one of the best and each moment I had to return home I got just a little bit sad. I'd recommend Sanctuary to anyone looking for rest, relaxation and peace.

Delightful luxe resort on the shoulders of Camelback Mountain providing a lofty vista of Scottsdale and spectacular sunrise and sunset views of Camelback Mountain itself.

Came to enjoy a relaxed overnight layover enroute to Phoenix from a northern Arizona adventure.

Superior Concierge support and gracious, attentive hospitality provided by Reception and Service staff. Complimentary golf cart ferrying service provided for guests not up to hilly walkabouts.

A small but well-designed Southwest-syled retreat with well-maintained desert landscaping, the impeccable, modernist rooms/casitas are set up to ensure superior privacy and tranquility for guests seeking desert sanctuary. Great amenities.

In-house restaurant "elements" provides superior dining from name Chef Beau MacMillan, and the relaxing Patio breakfast a generous, delicious day-starter with prime view of pool and grounds.

Overall, a superb desert mountain retreat experience.

Room Tip: For your brief but superior respite, ask for one of the only two resort rooms with a balcony so as t...

I stayed this past memorial day weekend and lets just we had 2 off days at the resort which is not of the norm for this place. However Sanctuary quickly recovered and we are rebooked again for July 4th weekend coming up, all because the attention to detail and customer service from Jeremy Dougherty the Resort Manager. This is my 3rd stay and I will be a long term customer. Russell Lacasce the Executive Sous Chef went above and beyond and came out to greet us for dinner at Elements, the guys behind the Jade Bar was amazing and Molly the waitress at the pool was so attentive and had great conversation that here is how we feel ( everyone is entitled to a bad day) Clearly Jeremy hit the reset button for us, and we are rebooked and ready to return. The food the people and the attention to detail shows this property really cares about customer satisfaction. This is a gem in the Paradise Valley Sky that I will always come to because the excellent customer service and their willingness to acknowledge their mistakes and make your experience seamless as possible ( Michele Smith)

Room Tip: The Mountain View Vistas are the best views

Rooms were excellent, the Spa Suite with an outdoor bath was excellent for evening relaxation beneath the stars. Turn down service was a nice touch, pool and front gate hospitality was well run as well. For me and the wife, this is our preferred getaway from the hustle and bustle of BayArea, California.

Room Tip: Spa Suite for outdoor relaxation; mountain casitas have a kitchenette if you prefer to cook in every...
