Nice food, great atmosphere, with live music in the evenings. Large patio area, along with indoor seating and bar, can make service a little scattered. Get the table side guacamole.

Rita's Kitchen has wonderful food and a very friendly wait staff but if you choose to sit outside beware of the birds. Once someone leaves their table the birds- big black ones- swarm the table and start picking at the leftover food. Should you be sitting in their way you will feel the air from their wings. My husband had one practically skim the top of his head. I choose the Camel Back Resort from fond memories I had of the Sunday brunch they had years ago before they became JW Marriott. Well, I took out of town guests there and all they can talk about are the birds and possible sanitation problems from watching the birds around all the tables and food. Please take care of this problem and have a super restaurant no matter where you sit.

We ate seven consecutive breakfasts here in late December-early January and they were all great. There is the usual Marriott buffet, of course, but here it's gussied up with a lot of extras including sweet goods from the hotel's own bakery.

And the menu items are all quite good, especially the huevos rancheros.

Great wait staff and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating.

I visited Rita's kitchen on thanksgiving with my very large family. We had an OK time. The atmosphere was nothing special, it didn't do anything for you. We were seated quickly because of reservations. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. This made the meal that much more enjoyable. We started off with drinks and then ordered the table-side quacamole. It was pretty good, and the waiter even gave us a recipe for it. There was a turkey dinner available because of the holiday. Many of us ordered the turkey dinner, however I ordered the beet and goat cheese salad with flank stank. It was excellent taste wise, but the waiter did not ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. This resulted in a very, very rare steak that was not enjoyable. All in all, this restaurant was average and is worth three stars

Our first meal in Arizona upon arriving at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. Really nice atmosphere, great food for a quick hotel meal and really wonderful staff. I had their house salad (forgot the name) but it was delicious and filling. My husband had the chicken and he enjoyed it.
Didn't get to try their brunch but apparently that's what they're known for. Lots of people were there for it - including locals - so must assume it's good.
