My husband and I stayed here for five nights. It was a business trip for him, vacation for me. The front desk staff was always polite, friendly and helpful, day and night. We stayed in a "king suite" on the fourth floor. The room was adequate in size, however it was in need of updating. There was a big stain clearly seen on the rug. in front of the bed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom layout was strangely located. As soon as you enter the room, you're immediately in the vanity/sink area. Although the counter space and mirror is very large, there is only one sink. Having this area right in front of the door posed potential problems when one of us was getting ready after showering and the other was entering the room.....no privacy from other potential people in the hallway when the door is open. Also, there is no divider between this vanity/sink area and the bed area. When my husband got up early to get ready for work, the lights and movement in this sink area could not be avoided which was interrupting to my trying to sleep. The shower/toilet is located directly across from the vanity area and does have a door. The exhaust fan goes on every time the light is turned on which is loud at night. There is a microwave and fridge and small sink area in the main part of the room. Flat screen TV was good as it swiveled making it easy to watch from the bed or the desk. There was no "auto" button on the AC, which means it's either on or off. It does not shut off once it reaches temperature. They offer a free continental breakfast, which is nice but there was never any fresh fruit. The fitness room was very limited...only 3 machines, no weights. Also, there were no disinfecting wipes provided to wipe down the machines, yuk! The outside pool is fine. Not that big but sufficient for us. Overall, I think some improvements should be made. Since the main purpose was a business trip, I knew this was not a "resort" location so we made the best of the imperfections.
