Each visit 4 & 5 nights, central location, quiet, immaculate in a true restful setting in the middle of downtown metropolis. you are spoiled at breakfast - do not miss. Never had fresh made scones w home made lemon curd ready at 7 AM! Many breakfast options custom made. Each visit booked 2 rooms, so far have been exposed to 4 of their accommodations. Would rebook any of them!

Room Tip: all rooms quiet but each is diverse have look at website photos. Your mood can match one of their ro...

It is much what you expect when staying in a B&B. No TV in room and small desk. Property shows some signs of wear and tear (missing tiles in shower, chipped frosting on window). Arrived in early evening but no greeter which just made it seem like I'm trespassing! Positives - breakfast including the preparing (I forget the name) and the pool which was blissful on the extremely hot day I was there. As a solo traveler I probably wouldn't stay again but would be great for couples or families to have the extra room and pool.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet

We stayed at the Zenyard in the Jerome room for 3 nights. Eddie greeted us and provided great information on Phoenix and Sedona which we traveled to for one day. Breakfast was delicious with quite the spread. The grounds were well kept not to mention the night time atmosphere at the pool and jacuzzi. We will be using Zenyard for our next Phoenix trip!

Never having stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before we had no expectations in mind. We stayed at ZenYard 3 nights. The main house has a common living room, dining room, where we ate breakfast and a couple of bedrooms for rent . This area was very nice and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff/owners were very friendly and made you feel right at home. We stayed in the private bungalow called Cowboy Casita. A very quiet, self sustained one bedroom cottage but in much needed state of repairs and updating. There were a lot of quirky things we had to do (use pliers for air conditioner, extension cord for hair dryer out to the bedroom, etc.). The grounds around the casita were unkempt and not clean which was different than the rest of the private sitting areas I had seen. The salt water pool was great and refreshing but yet the grounds surrounding the pool seemed a bit unkempt and I would not use the hot tub as it was stuck in a corner under an arbor and it was dark and full of cobwebs. I would definitely stay there again but I would book one of the private rooms in the back.

Room Tip: Book the "Jerome" or "flagstaff" room.

Our stay at ZenYard was a one-night stand on our way from El Paso to Cedar City, Utah. If we'd known how pleasant it would be, we might have stayed a few extra nights. As it was, we enjoyed the Jerome Room, which was spacious and well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, very nice shower), and the copious and delicious self-serve breakfast, enhanced by conversation with the staff and other guests, with entertainment by hummingbirds. We had to push off before we could sample the salt-water pool, the hot tub, and the many nooks and alcoves furnished with comfortable furniture for sitting and reading or chatting.

Room Tip: The only room we stayed in was the Jerome room, which leaves nothing to be desired.

On a recent trip to Phoenix, I had the great pleasure of staying at the ZenYard. It was the most relaxing 2 days of a 9-day trip, and I actually felt reluctant leaving. I stayed in the Tucson room, which was homey and extremely comfortable. Swam in the wonderful pool both days, & enjoyed the spa as well. Great breakfasts, a beautiful & serene environment, and hosts who are warm, friendly, & accommodating. I will definitely be back! Thanks, Dale, Eddie, & Sherri!

Thank you so much for being able to have an experience with us. We try really hard to make everything as comfortable as possible. We weren't sure if everything was OK for you besides the kind words as all the rating boxes weren't filled out so it gave this review a lower score.. ;-o .. We are so very glad you were happy with everything. ;-) We hope to have you back again now that you are an experienced ZenYard guest. Cheers!
