The hotel is nice and the staff are nicer. The complimentary breakfast offered is top of the line. Only complaint I had was that the A/C did not work properly half-way through our stay and then the room took a really long time to cool down.

We held our annual family reunion for 32 people in Phoenix and used the Embassy Suites as our host hotel. Although there were a few problems with some rooms with the air conditioning. The staff did all they could to make everyone comfortable in the 110 degree heat. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast and happy hour are wonderful benefits of staying in the hotel. The atrium of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and was a wonderful place to meet with our cousins. The Omaha steak house did a wonderful job serving a late night dessert to many reunion attendees. The manager even came out to welcome us. The manager was wonderful to work with and the staff work ribbons welcoming our association's reunion. We had a wonderful time at the Embassy Suites.

Loved the feel of the open lobby. Suite was nice, bathroom a little small. Breakfast lady was very organized and quick. Evening reception lady was incredible with remembering names and drink preference. Grandkids loved coming to share pool time.

Spent a Friday night at the Embassy Suites Hotel - Biltmore. The pool had tons of leaves in it that needed to be skimmed. Other peoples' towels (people who were no longer at the pool) littered the pool area for hours - taking up chairs, with no one picking them up. Since the pool doesn't close until midnight, we heard loud screaming in our room even with the door closed up until then, and we had to get up at 5 a.m. The pull-out sofa was all springs and incredibly uncomfortable. The room seemed dated. If you intend to stay the night there...do not get a pool-side room if you want to sleep! The staff was courteous.

Room Tip: Avoid pool-side rooms if you want to sleep!

The course instructor chose this hotel as host and we received a good rate for the 4 nights we stayed. Overall we're quite happy with the choice: especially since the location was close to some interesting restaurants and shopping for the small amount of free time we had: no need for a car!

The hotel is starting to get long in the tooth and shows it in places where modifications have been made to accommodate the Phoenix climate, e.g., screens on the skylights, upgraded air conditioning, etc. There's some functional but "interesting" carpentry in the cabinetry in the rooms but it's more amusing than anything else.

The complimentary breakfast can certainly be filling but the menu doesn't ever seem to change -- it becomes tough going after a few days! The late afternoon snack does rotate between a few different things so is easier to handle [plus it has a bar service].

The staff are mostly friendly and helpful -- we did encounter a few that seemed a little tired/distracted but they were in the vast minority.

BEWARE: Air conditioning in the business/conference area can be brutally strong -- we packed for a desert climate and needed to buy extra layers just to sit through class!

Room Tip: All rooms have exterior windows, but as there are no easily accessible stairways, pick a room closer...

WE are staying at this hotel for a week .. Our first night the AC did not seem to cool off our room the way we thought it should . After talking to Melinda the mgr . she quickly sent a repair person who looked at it she also had given us another choice of rooms to try , So we did not have to move .. after looking and talking the best optioon was to give us a fan to use in our original room it worked great and we are really glad we have stayed here she also without asking gave us a gift card for the restaurant here very unexpected but a way in which service is better severed it was great of her to do this.

It started off crappy, and when I got there, all though the staff was very nice, the rules were ridiculous. My card had been compromised EN ROUTE to a convention being held at this hotel, so I had to borrow money from family and friends until my bank could fix my issues. They just made it very diffucult to get into the room. I had to carry my luggage around until 3 pm, I had to add an extra 100.00 in cash down just to get the room. The bed SUCKED, and the walls were paper thin it felt. The hotel staff were very nice. The scenery is beautiful, and minus the bed... the room is very nice. It probaly didnt help that I had a rough morning, and they just added to my stress.
