Great place to land for a few days! Host is gracious and hilarious, a hard worker and really committed to treating all guests with respect and generosity. You can be as little or much engaged with other guests as you wish. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Easily 5 stars!

Tim, the host, is so accommodating, staying here was like going home for a visit. Tim keeps a well stocked breakfast kitchen available 24/7.

As new guest arrive, Tim introduces everyone so you all know each other and who is staying at the resort with you. Intimate enough for a couple but perfect to meet a travel buddy for singles.

The rooms have recently been redone and are well kept. Enough pool chairs for everyone. The pool is warm enough to not be shocking but cool enough to still be refreshing! Not a single bad spot for tanning. Shade was a quick step away under the outdoor awnings.

Quiet neighborhood. Centrally located. Quick drives to each bar. An Uber driver was always within 8 minutes away. Time has plenty of recommendations of bars, restaurants, and hikes.

This was a fantastic getaway from a long cold winter.

I've stayed several times here and have found the hospitality great each time. The host, Tim, is effortlessly efficient and goes out if his way to look after his guests. I especially appreciated the offers to do laundry after many days travelling. And for people arriving from several time zoned away, always having breakfast available in the serve-yourself kitchen helps when the clock says 3am but the stomach says mealtime.

I just spent five nights at the Sunburst and had a great time. The B&B is very nice, clean and a really relaxing setting. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and all the guests spent most of their time outside around them while I was there. I know Palm Springs is a popular spot for guys but I think Phoenix was more to offer with a big city and lots of attractions and night life. And the number one reason to stay at the Sunburst is Tim, the host, who is one of the sweetest guys on the planet and who will make your stay really special.

My partner and I spent a stay vacation at the Sunburst this weekend and we absolutely loved it! Time is an excellent host! He makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. The Inn only has 7 rooms so it is very easy to meet and visit with guests. Our first stay at the Inn was back in 1995 under previous owners and we have been coming back on and off for almost 20 years now. We retired to the West Valley from Chicago and for us the Inn is a perfect weekend get away! We will be back. It feels like home!

Five days and four nights and cannot put into words how we enjoyed our stay. The room was immaculate and the pool/jacuzzi inviting and well used by us and folks we were there in February! Tim is the consummate host and makes sure every guest meets every other staying there. We ended up having dinner with several others and hitting the town in a group.......how often does that happen? If you had a question about anything PHX had to offer Tim was ready and willing to offer suggestions.
To say that the rooms and the whole place was "clean" is an understatement.....it was immaculate!
Continental breakfast is just that..........great muffins/pastries, selection of cereals and the coffee pot was always hot and ready and plenty of juice and milk and great selection of teas.

Not sure why there are the negative postings. Just got back from 5 days at the Sunburst. Tim is a wonderful host who helps out with whatever he can. Saw a number of the rooms and all were recently remodeled and nice. The pool is probably the cleanest pool I have ever seen and I travel frequently. Phoenix is not transit friendly nor good for a walker. You will need a car to get around. There are a number of restraunts within blocks from the Sunburst. Bars are a short drive from the area. As for the 'friendliness' of the Sunburst, you make it what you want it to be. If you want to be left alone, you can keep to yourself. We kept quiet the first few days and then met a guy from Chicago and spent until 1130pm talking with Tim, laughing poolside. Noname...Tim's cat is a very chatty young lady who likes to interact. Tim keeps the rooms insanely clean! As for something negative...I'd say the room walls were a little thin. I've had thinner walls at other establishments and just countered the extra noise with the bathroom fan. The concerns about the breakfast are surprising. It is a CONTINENTAL breakfast. If you expect that, you won't be disappointed. There is a 'left over' refrigerator near the massage room where people leave their adult beverages they didn't get to during their visit. As for the 'friskiness'....it's as frisky as you make it. I can assure you it happens late at night when everyone should be sleeping but lets just say not everyone was sleeping.
