“One night in downtown Phoenix, AZ”
Reviewed 20 December 2012

I stayed at the hotel for one night at a room at the ground floor.
The room was good, had a big bed, an a/c, a microwave, coffee machine and coffee, a fridge and a tv. Wifi was also for free.
The bathroom was okay, the shower cleanliness was average.
The night was very quiet and even in the morning I didn't here noises from the rush hour.

The personell was very nice and friendly!

I would totally recommend this motel!

It's only 7 blocks from Downtown. If you don't have a car, you may ride a bus back and forth to the hotel. A lot of parkings. Standby taxi service right at the hotel. No need to call taxi!

You also have to prepare your own shampoo. No grocery store close by.

I was looking for an inexpensive bed for the night in Phoenix and Best West Inn fit the bill. It was at least $10 less than other, similar hotels in the area. This place is not the Ritz. But if you looking for a clean and quiet place to spend the night, it is worth a look. In-room fridge and microwave, free wi-fi, some covered parking too. The room was a good size, the aircon and fridge quiet, and no road or outside noise at all. Comfortable double-sized bed with good sheets and decent towels. Friendly staff.

This little place is, as my husband would say, a diamond in the rough. Being truckers we needed an inexpensive place to stay for the night, and at $40 a night thought we'd give it a try. It has a pretty small parking lot which having a 30ft trailer behind the truck posed a bit of a problem. However, the owner was more than happy to help us in whatever way she could. In fact they went out of their way to help us. The entire staff was so friendly you'd have thought you were in a five star hotel.
The rooms are a little small too, but its very clean and serves the purpose. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here.

We stayed overnight in this motel in the beginning of June. All we needed was a quiet place to sleep, since we we driving from LA to Flagstaff, and it was just a stop.
Everything seemed predictable in the beginning, all according to others' reviews. A sort of weird reception with hard glass - like the guys were surrounded by enemies. But the guys themselves were quite friendly, and even presented us cookies:).
The room on the 1-st floor was also OK, not spacious, but rather cozy and clean.
Troubles began when we turned on the conditioning. It was a huge device, too big for this small room, with only 3 simple options. None of those implied a quiet regime(. So, it roared like crazy, and didn't seem to take pauses or slow down. And the weather outside was like in a normal desert - above 90 at night.
We decided to shut the device, and to open a window. But the window did not open! - maybe, enemies were really walking around this property, and everybody was supposed to get barricaded in their rooms?
So, that night was a nightmare. We turned it on and off, and if was either wailing, or we couldn't breathe. The next day my husband got a sore throat, and was sick for several days.
