Went for a birthday weekend with my family and their families. Everything was wonderful. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Hailey at the customer service desk was extremely helpful and sweet. Candice a manager in the restaurant when asked where an event was walked us there herself and proceeded to assist us with a few other needs. She too was sweet and obviously knows the value of great customer service. The only downside was that our room had two double beds, it would have been better with two queen beds. We will definitely return next year.

This resort is awesome, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Bryce who helped me at the front desk was awesome. I booked through my Marriot Rewards and let them know if was my birthday, when I showed up he wished me Happy Bday and they were able to upgrade my room. It was an awesome Bday and I appreciate the JW for helping make it that. This is also one of my favorite places to play golf. All around I have a great time every time I decide to Visit this property.

Room Tip: If you get a room with a better view, it's on the same side of the hotel as the pool so you'...

This is a great resort and I would definitely return. The WiFi was slow. I have one suggestion...put an ice cream/sweet shop in there. With all the families there, an ice cream shop would go great.

Otherwise, this place was great and the staff is extremely friendly.

I like ice cream.

Stayed at the JW for a professional conference and had a very positive stay. The staff is friendly and attentive and it is a great property to have a conference. Ate at three restaurants and all were quite good. The room is spacious and comfortable the only negative is the shower door hits the toilet and won't fully open. Bad design not the hotels fault. The worst part of the trip were some rude guests. The second night he party came in around 2:30 and continued on in an adjacent room. Called the front desk and was resolved quickly with two Starbucks vouchers for the next day and they were definitely used. The next day it rained and kids decided the main hallways were play areas. This went on for quite a while and the mothers pulled chairs out into the main corridor and chatted up a storm while the kids went wild. I was on the top floor and this was going on all the way down on the main floor. Another call down, nothing done, a visit to the front desk and silence. Would stay there again but would ask for a room that is not in the main corridors so the sound won't echo so much.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, especially at our three restaurants. We are however, disappointed to hear of the disruptions from other guests that affected your stay, but pleased that our staff took care of each situation immediately. I attended a professional conference here and I was totally pleased with everything from the hotel itself to how the conference was taken care of. The inside and outside of the hotel are beautiful. The desert landscaping was fantastic. Everything was spotless and the friendly staff was always around to help. I loved the Lazy River pool. The restaurants offered a good range of food prices and the food was very good. The hotel was child friendly and offered a shuttle that ran to a nearby shopping and restaurant area. I would definitely recommend it for a resort quality hotel.

Took 2 grandchildren and spent 2 nights enjoying all the amenities of this beautiful resort. The children were treated with respect and we had many options for keeping them entertained; from the variety of pools to the Family Escape center equipped with games, crafts, and organized outdoor activities. The room was small, but very comfortable beds and very quiet. Any requests were quickly addressed. Summer specials make this a great deal for families.

We were at the JW Marriott last year during their renovations. Went back today July 30th 2014. The resort is beautiful. The gardens, water features and a man made river just perfect. With the Mcdowell mountains as the back drop one must take pictures. The staff is terrific and the food delicious. There are a number of pools and a lazy river. This is one of the best resorts in Phoenix Az. I highly recommend staying there...

Room Tip: If you can get a room that faces the desert and gardens...
