Stayed 6 nights. Location is not ideal although shopping is right across the street. Scottsdale is about 25 minutes away. The restaurants are top notch, never had a bad/poor meal once. Pools are great, but the lazy river gets crowded with a lot of kids that don't move out of the way... Pool service was very good, a little slow on the weekend due to increase in people. I was not really impressed with the guy who we checked in with. Our room was not ready so he said he would give us a different room. I indicated that I wanted to make sure we had a nice view as we were going to be there for 6 nights. He seemed a little taken back by that and told us that our room had a king size bed (that was what we reserved) and that we had a lovely view of the city lights at night. Well, it seemed to me he would say anything to try to sound like he was giving us everything we wanted. Our room had no view of the city lights at all! We were facing the front drive and there were too many trees to see any kind of city lights. Not impressed. The rooms were ok, but a little dated. Our room was also very far from the elevators, the second last room at the end of the wing. So we had a big hike every time we went anywhere. Thanks check in guy...not sure if we would stay again.

This was the nicest hotel. My room was a little small but still, the hotel was awesome. Great service. The pool is one of the nicest parts of the stay. Very relaxing.

I had several meetings in this hotel. The hotel was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Spend 8 nights at this beautiful place for a conference.

Lots of pools. Try the lazy river, the water is warm ! You can watch movies from the pool at night. It closes late.

Restaurants have good food. Cold water available to drink, throughout the sites.

Wifi free in the lobby.

Cleaning of the room is ok. nothing wow.

Shopping Mall at a 5 min walk.

Gym space is good for a little workout. Go in the evening, Less people. 5 am is not the right time :P

Staff friendly.

Not a bad vacation spot.

Room Tip: Ask a view of the pool.

We spent 4 nights at the resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was full of amenities and comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated with a king size bed that was very comfortable. The pool area is amazing, especially the lazy river. It was very relaxing with lots of different options such as food, drinks, etc. There is a Starbucks within the resort for some morning coffee. Several restaurant options, golfing, excellent views. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back

I was at this resort for a conference. We were a large group of over 800. The service was excellent. I have never had staff who were so consistently pleasant, polite and accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. Check in and out was fast and easy despite the numbers. The food for the conference was great and we could actually sit to eat instead of standing or walking around looking at the exhibits as has been the case at other conferences I've attended.
Now, the facilities were unbelievable. My friends and I couldn't haul ourselves out of the lazy river. I think we went around about 10 times. What a treat! The only complaint I have is the number of unsupervised children left to dash through without rafts or tubes. We were concerned they would get trapped underwater and no one would notice. But that's not the hotel's fault. Where were the parents? There were several other pools as well as beautifully maintained gardens and a golf course. And a free shuttle to nearby shopping. Who could ask for more!!!

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are so pleased that you had both an excellent experience during your conference and some relaxing time in between to float away down the lazy river! For business or pleasure, we hope to welcome you back to the resort again soon!

We stayed two nights at this hotel, one on each end of an circle tour. The Sunday was awesome even though there was a large Microsoft meeting going on, the hotel didn't seem crowded. Our other night was a Saturday night and the hotel was mobbed with local stay-cationers. The pool was over crowded with no float tubes available. We ate at their italian restaurant Tuscany on both nights. It was very yummy but on the Saturday night there was no kids menu/pizza option, only a kids buffet. There were many large groups of families present with unruly, barely supervised kids seated separately from their parents. Clearly not the hotel's fault but annoying. We have kids but I don't let them be loud or obnoxious in a restaurant. The rooms were clean and modern and we were greeted on both check ins by a very nice greeter person. The chocolate chip cookies at check in were a nice touch. Great summer rates available too.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time with us, especially at our restaurant, Tuscany. We are sorry to hear that you experienced some challenges both at the pool areas and with other guests during your restaurant experience. Summer time does tend to fill up with families that are here for staycations to enjoy our many pool areas. We hope that you will come join us again when your travels bring you to Arizona.

we visited this resort kid free!! we checked in got our room and laid on the comfy bed!!. we went to twenty6 and had some drinks - went back to our room and ordered Captain America and ordered room service at 1 am!!! I think it is awesome that they cook something all night. sleep in the dark curtains are amazing!! ordered room service again yummy pancakes. Pozole was very bland but rest of food was good. went down to pools and river stayed a bit but was sooo full of kids and we had left our behind so we went back to room. we then rented spiderman. it was a amazing relaxing staycation will return. only bad thing I can say is pay more attention to the restrooms, ours had lots of hair on toilet and in all the corners.

Room Tip: higher up gives you a balcony as opposed to patio on 1st floor.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your staycation and “grownup time” with us. We would love to suggest for your next stay to try our Griffin Club, which is an exclusive club for adults over 21 years old. It offers a wonderful, relaxing experience throughout the day and evenings. We appreciate your comment on the restrooms and will forward this on to our Housekeeping staff to review. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
