I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone doing business at the convention center or seeing a baseball/basketball game. it's walking distance (3-5 short blocks) phoenix downtown.

hotel is extremely immaculate, everything in room is up-to-date, functioning properly and quite QUIET. great for business travel with free wi-fi and breakfast. Has small exercise room and pool (3-5' deep) and outdoor jacuzzi.

Definitely worth considering. Thank you for a great, comfortable stay.

considering how many hotels in large american cities charge for parking, this one, on the edge of downtown is worth considering. along with the breakfast and the in room internet, i thought is was value, especially on an ebreak Marriott weekend promotion.
breakfast is typical of Marriott and the staff were professional. just dont expect any fireworks downtown, the place resembles a military curfew imposed at 6pm, i have never seen a more desolate concrete canyon in a large city...

Stayed here for a week and the only problem was the classic internet speed slow-down experienced in virtually every hotel I stay in when most people get on the web at night. When staying in downtown, you either pay to park in a lot or feed a meter. Parking at the hotel is free and plentiful. Liked having a second sink and microwave at the wet bar area. Two TV's but a few channels were snowy.

After searching for many days for a hotel in Phoenix and never having been there before, we finally settled on the Springhill Marriott mostly because the AAA rate was very low and there was no charge for parking whereas many of the more expensive hotels also charged for parking and breakfast. Our room was gigantic compared with many other hotels we have stayed in. Two queensize beds and separate living room, dressing room, bathroom, kitchen and office area. Great bedding and five pillows of different types on each bed which was also very comfortable. Breakfast was about average for most hotels but a large variety including homemade oatmeal, eggs, sausage, ham, etc. Very nice dining room and a business center with computers that actually worked. All over, two great nights for a very reasonable price. The location was better than described. We could walk to Arizona Center where there was shopping and a very good mexican restaurant, Mi Amigos. Would recommend to anyone I know.

Stayed here with my significant other for a night in August. Being very spoiled in regards to hotels and resorts this place has just nothing to offer. Downtown Phoenix deserves a great hotel. This one just as bland as all the others in the area. Nothing special. Rooms are boring, no lobby, no atmosphere. If you are looking for a sheltered bed - this is the place for you, if you're looking for a "hotel", go to Scottsdale.

Pretty surprising to find a new SpringHill Suites 4 blocks from Chase Field (home of the MLB Diamondbacks) with free parking, breakfast & wi-fi for $89. Walked to the game and never felt unsafe (I'm told not to walk in the other direction), room was great, breakfast good. Best value of a 6-motel trip out west!
