This is our second visit to the area...make sure you eat at Golden Buddha, it's yummy traditional food.

Excellent Asian grocery store, a couple of decent restaurants, gift shops from cheap souveniers to more upscale asian art, but except for occasional special events, not much in the way of accessible "culture."

When I went, I wished there were more stores there to celebrate Chinese culture. The places I visited were unique and so warm and friendly. I loved being in such an environment.

The asian market is okay and it seems to be the best for fresh fish and meats, Asian style, in the region, but not Chinatown quality. The nearby stores have some interesting oriental stuff if you are into that...

Don't expect a miniature version of San Francisco's or New York's Chinatowns. This center is a small mall, consisting of restaurants, a supermarket, and China-related businesses. The giftshops sell tasteless Chinatown-type souvenirs. The Golden Buddha and Schechwan Palace restaurants are pretty good. The supermarket is heavily patronized by east Asian and Latino customers and have some items that are hard to find elsewhere. The only traces of Chinese culture aside from commerce and cuisine are in the garden, which wraps around the western and southern sides of the complex. This features a pond and replicas of several old-style Chinese pavilions and gates.
