“Fun for dinner or the Asian Festival”

Chinese Cultural Center
Reviewed 19 October 2012

Been here a few times for dinner and attending the Asian Festival. It's fun to get away from the usual doings and do different things.

Thank tutana

Hot tea, Dumplings & Ribs were very prepared fresh tasty and good quality. Comparable to NYC China Town. Somewhat pricey but good. Recommended.

If you visit old cities around the country, one phenomenon is consistent. Ethnic neighborhoods and neighborhoods of nationalities are ever present and a healthy part of the city. Phoenix may be too young or too middle of nowhere to have established cultural zones, but it is nice to see the development of diversity in our oasis. I don't know if they like me, but I like them at the Chinese cultural center and I hope it expands and prospers for generations to come.

The prepared items from the menu were good, the food from the dim sum carts was O.K. Drinks way over priced. They were not helpful with suggestions or specials. Service good.

By all mean this center is not China Town. It is more like shopping center with the attraction of man made pond and buildings. There was plenty of parking spaces. There are restaurants and several Asian gifts and furniture. Don't have a high expectation from this place but it is also closed by to other attractions.
