“Disappointed”

Chinese Cultural Center
Reviewed 21 April 2014

The Chinese Culture Center was like a Chinese Ghost town in the making. It was a fair idea to begin with but now one I would visit again. It was like visiting a business center build for 50 businesses and there was only six there. There was two gift shop and in one the employees were very rude and everything has a don't not touch sign. Everything in the shops was way overpriced. There was a Chinese supermarket and I do mean Chinese. I walked around and there was not one thing I recognized. I believe there were two restaurants there and being from NY I really didn't get a Chinatown feeling checking them out.

Szechuan Restaurant was below par. Prices reasonable but quality of preparation not acceptable. Supermarket worthwhile for picking up fresh fruits and snacks.

COFCO Chinese Cultural Center is a gem in the rough. It had two restaurants, couple of KnickKnack stores, Bakery and a large Ranch 99 Supermarket.

I ate a weekday Lunch Special (Hot and Sour Soup, EggRoll and MooGooGai Pan) at the Szechwan Palace for $7. Very good service, food quality/quantity and price. With the healthy option of Brown Rice (no extra charge). The restaurant was 3/4s full with a Lunchtime crowd. I would definitely go back and look forward to more businesses opening up. Chop - Chop.

It is a small garden with a Chinese touch. If the weather is perfect, then spending few hours here would be awesome.
