Came for a Tuesday night dinner here with a team of 8.

The location before you go in is brilliant, it's on a hill with panoramic views and then you go in to what I will describe as a unique uphill entrance.

We were greeted and taken to our table which we subsequently changed as we preferred a little more space.

The restaurant has some unique touches, a slide between levels, sawdust on the floor and a live country band in between the floors on an elevated stage.

The beer was good, service fast and the menu was varied and had some different items on it.

We ordered several starters which in honesty weren't great, the potato skins were undercooked but we weren't too fussed.

I ordered the beef ribs and the rattlesnake as it was a must try item, it's not every day you see rattlesnake on a menu.

The team thought I was mad but the snake was really tasty.

The beef ribs were not quite as I expected but that was my fault as I was expecting short ribs and should have checked this.

I would recommend this place to anyone who fancies something different with a great atmosphere and panoramic views.

I've stopped in at this touristy spot over the last 20 years, and it hasn't changed much. You definitely get the 'western' feel here from the smell of the real life bull in the parking lot, to the real country band. The food is good, but the place holds a ton of tables so don't expect much room or peace and quiet. Make sure you take a ride down the slide(adults too) on your way down to the dining area. Big negative-no reservations taken for smaller groups.

Beautiful view of the valley from this hilltop location. It appears to be on the "must go list" for our yearly invaders from colder areas of the US and Canada. Good happy hour and the food is fine, not remarkable.
