We just returned from having brunch at Wright's in the AZ Biltmore -- thought I'd post a quick review.
The buffet features salads, coldcuts, sushi, seafood, breads and pastries and desserts. You can either just have the buffet or you can order an entree off of the menu and have the buffet with it. Most of our party opted for the buffet only; one choose the specialty omelet of the day and she said it was excellent. The entrees were mainly egg dishes, although I do remember seeing a steak and a salmon dish (there may have been other meat dishes, but I wasn't really paying attention). There weren't any pancake, french toast or waffle choices, to the disappointment of my son.
The buffet itself was quite good -- it's definitely more of an adult buffet, particularly with all of the seafood. The desserts were wonderful -- the mini creme brulees were fabulous, but beware of the chocolate -- it's sinfully rich! The lay-out could have been better -- everything was crammed together in the dark, entrance-way to the restaurant.
The atmosphere is pleasant -- you're at the Biltmore (!) and there's live piano music and the sound of fountains. The service was odd -- getting drinks and butter seemed to take a long time, but when you left your seat to go back to the buffet, someone immediately came over to re-roll your napkin and replace your silverware. The coffee refills were reliable though, and the coffee was excellent.
Overall, it was a lovely (but expensive) brunch, but discussing it afterwards, my daughter and I both preferred the brunch we had at Wrigley's Mansion last year -- a better variety of foods and a better lay-out.
