Went to find a Vietnam Vet friend of the family who passed away a year ago. Easy to find location north of the 101 and a beautiful location. Well kept grounds, fitting memorials and quite similar to other National cemeteries except this is one happens to be in the desert. Peace, dignity, honor and remembrance of those who served this great Country.

While it lacks the beautiful lawns and fountains found at many national cemeteries, the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona is still a lovely place of respect and remembrance. They utilize desert plants and cacti, and there are many giant saguaros. There are about a dozen memorials here, including the Eternal Flame monument, and the World War II Submarine Torpedo monument
