I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Wonderful service, clean room, nice fitness center. Great location near light rail and only 10 minutes by cab to the airport. Fairly inexpensive at $129 per night. Definitely stay again when in town.

Room Tip: Ask for side that faces east so your room does not heat up too much during the day.

I was attending a convention at the Phoenix Convention Center and this hotel was only a block away - great for walking in the beautiful Phoenix weather. Within walking distance were several restaurants (from fast food & starbucks to high end restaturants), which was nice as I didn't have a rental car.

The room was nice and clean and hte bed was comfortable. My view overlooked the 5th floor balcony as well as a run down building across the street. Not much to look at, but I wasn't looking for views.

The fitness room was well stocked with plenty of equipment that was all in working order with the exception of a few of the treadmill TVs.

Overall a great and comfortable place to stay on business.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about our wonderful hotel!
The building you saw from your balcony was recently purchased and will be renovated over the next 2 years. It has some very interesting history behind it, and they'll be maintaining the integrity. We welcome them to our neighborhood!

The hotel was inviting, stimulating, and appealing to the eye. Our room was spectacular with an amazing view of some of downtown Phoenix's best attractions. The bed was so comfortable, leaving was difficult. The staff was friendly, incredibly helpful and attentive. We will certainly return! Thanks to management for making our stay so wonderul! Bravo!

This beautifully renovated Marriott property is still in the process of new management transition.
Although we had several strong challenges for a smooth stay, it is the extremely cheerful, helpful,"we'll make it right" attitude of several key people on property. PJ, a bellman, went above and beyond throughout our stay. His personal greeting with our comings and goings, and immediate response with requests was impressive. Executive management take turns walking the lobby to make sure guests needs are bring met. One of them, Marty, an executive assistant, turned what could have been something miserable into delightful. And the long tern property lobby bartender, sorry I can't recall her name, just her smile, made you feel everything is good. I don't usually write reviews but I am so appreciate that clear effort and focus is in place to make this a preferred property. I would definitely stay again and look forward to visiting my new Renaissance friends.

We wanted to stay downtown so we could walk to Chase Field. The hotel was ideal for this. The parking is expensive $23 and $12.99 to use the internet. The room was small but upscale. I stayed at the Courtyard the next night and was more impressed with it than the Renaissance. Half the price and free internet, parking and breakfast. They have spent all of their money on the lobby of the Renaissance instead of the rooms.

Hi Melorphrer ~ We're very sorry your experience was less than expected. Parking is at a premium in most large urban cities, and we are limited to an attached garage - we really wish we had a huge parking lot to offer you! We have complimentary wi-fi in our lobby for your convenience. We sincerely hope you will give us another shot!

We experienced a major challenge when we purchased our reservation online and it was lost in the system. We spent many hours of frustration trying to confirm our reservations when Alexander Turley, took us on and secured our rooms which ended up being much nicer rooms! Thank you Alex! We will be back. Cheryl

Service excellent, decor and ambience are pleasant, breakfast is generous, fitness room average and good. Concierge Room is dreadful by Marriott standards. I'll return when the Concierge room has breakfast and wine/snacks in the evening. Until then, stay @airport Marriott -very good place.

Glad to hear you're coming back! Our Club Lounge is currently under development and will burst onto the scene at the end of this year with all the ammenities you expect from a Renaissance Hotel! The Concierge Room you experienced is an interim lounge, bridging the gap until December. Hope you'll join us for the grand opening!
