This is the typical Hampton inn. The location is good, near downtown, Central Avenue businesses, a block from the light rail. A Starbucks is a few steps away. You're surrounded by parking lots and garages so the immediate vicinity is sterile. There is a pool and hot tub, open to midnight. I did not avail myself of,the free breakfast because the TV in the breakfast room was blaring and only one staff person watching it. Not their fault, I just like a quieter start to the day and will sacrifice a free breakfast if necessary.
The room was, large, clean, but the a/c seemed to want the room to be at 77 no matter what I set it to. Because I like the location and the hotel is more than adequate I will be glad to stay here again.More
