The rooms are very good, the service is good and you can't beat the price! $50 through Priceline... I'll try them again sometime.
It was great for the morning flight and rental car return. I wouldn't suggest it as a tourist base.

This is our second stay at the Phoenix Airport - close to airport but rooms are quiet and very clean. No free breakfast here and no restaurants in the area. The restaurant inside hotel was closed when we were there in June which was a huge disappointment as we had stayed here previously and very much enjoyed the food and were looking forward to it again. But overall our stay was uneventful and we enjoyed staying here.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at the Hilton Phoenix Airport. We are delighted to read that overall you enjoyed your experience at our property. I apologize that our restaurant was closed during your stay. We do offer the full restaurant menu as an option in the Rimrock Bar & Grille for all customers as an alternative option. We hope you can make it back to enjoy the upcoming updates to our property as well as the bar and restaurant. Thank You.

Staying at this hotel was strictly a matter of convenience to attend a specific business event. The restaurant quality and food selection is subpar for a Hilton facility. Venue is not convenient to other dining choices. Just the previous weekend I stayed at the Hilton Bayfront in San Diego and was wowed by the on-premise dining choices as well as accessibility to other dining and entertainment choices. A stay at a neighboring Marriott in Phoenix would have met needs just as well.

This place is old, labyrinthine, and in the middle of an industrial park, but it is very close to the airport. If you are looking for a place to stay because you have sales calls/client meetings/etc in that area, this hotel will do just fine (or perhaps if you are having a conference there). I would not recommend it for any kind of leisure stay unless it is way cheaper than the other available options.

Room Tip: try to get one close to thew lobby, the hallways are LONG

The hotel was fine, the checkin was fast. The Hertz return is a real plus, but find somewhere else to eat or drink. This is the slowest service I ever encountered. The waitress was incredibly inatentive and the bartender worked at a snails pace.

Only 3 1/2 stars for this hilton location: I so wanted this to be a stellar review for our once much loved hilton brand, but it's highly mixed. Typically we enjoy our stays at various hilton properties - for they have earned our appreciation and ratings through the years of corporate stays as working professionals.

Sadly this location fell short of the high standards the hilton brand has set.

We stopped of in Phoenix for a day on our way home from a Sedona retreat.

Tired and hungry, we were picked up at the airport by the shuttle driver promptly and quick deposited at the hilton airport Phoenix location.
(Good driver and prompt transport, which we both appreciated ).

The reception staff were prompt and courteous, w rapid checkin and bottled water to ease our parched throats due to the outdoor 106 degree temperature.

The Hilton hotel staffs across the board have been exemplary in Arizona - but this location has a very dated, tired decor and is need of a facelift. The carpet leading to our room was faded and worn in places.

Once we arrive in our room, we learned our lovely balcony view overlooked the noisy freeway and parking lot and we could barely stand on it - though we wouldn't want to, given the view. No help for that since this is a location at the airport, which we both understood.

There was also an odd, unpleasant smell in the room which dissipated eventually (though it was more resigning ourselves to the odor since we were just too tired to repack and move).

We left our bags and went down for a meal, only to learn the main restaurant was closed on Sunday afternoon at 5 pm and we could only eat in the loud and noisy sports grill, so we did.

Liz our server was wonderful and would do well in a 5 star restaurant w impeccable service. The food had good points as well as poor. My bacon grilled chicken wrap was excellent, the steak fries accompanying it were large and underdone while my husbands steak tacos were so- so.

We turned in early due to our exhaustion and woke incredibly early, so had room service. (Very unusual for us since we are out and about early). Rick our waiter was prompt, bringing fresh toast due to a mishap in the kitchen, and soy milk for the coffee.

Unfortunately the coffee was lukewarm (barely) and the toast, despite dressing it up w real butter and strawberry preserves, barely warm despite being brought promptly to us.

The bed was decent, but not the lovely comfort bed we expected from the Hilton brand. The temperature was off in the room despite being set at its coolest setting, it was still quite warm, almost uncomfortably so.

This is definitely a mixed review - fantastic service and mentioned staff worthy of a 5 star resort while downgraded drastically w the decor of a dated decades past. Food also a mixed bag, I don't think we will return to this location.

This hotel exceeded our expecations for an "airport hotel". We just needed a hotel for one night's stay near the airport and weren't sure what to expect. The lobby is nice and our room was very nice and clean. We were on the concierge floor so we were able to take advantage of the free breakfast the next morning. The concierge room was very nice and the staff were very attentive, and kept it extremely clean. There was just enough variety of hot/cold foods for my husband and our two kids (11 & 10 years old) to fill up. We would definitely stay here again.
