I found the place a very good deal for the price. I wanted to be close to the airport and also to the light rail route. I was actually surprised by the quality of the room and service. I read bad reviews on the Tripadvisor and expected it to be a dump, but it sure was not, at least, the room I had.

Positives: The room was very clean, had basic amenities such as a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron & board, table & chairs, hair dryer, safety box. Every thing functioned. The bed had a good mattress and was comfortable. There was enough lighting. I saw a pool, but it was too cold to swim. The place was unbelievably quiet during the night. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. There was a room delivery service from several restaurants. Light rail was close by and one could go out to Downtown area or to Tempe easily. There was free Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast was included in the price and the choice was sufficient for a light breakfast. There was a free shuttle to the airport frequent enough.

Negatives: There is no elevator so if you have a big bag you will need to carry it to the second floor. When I arrived there was only one person at the desk, a lady, I do not know if she would have helped or not, but I did not have a big bag. In the morning around 9 a.m. there was a loud siren that went on for about 15 minutes driving me crazy. I was not sure what was going on, but it was not at all pleasant.

I think if I come back for a short trip to Phoenix, I would consider staying here and save my money to go out to a nice meal in one of the nice restaurants in the Mill avenue neighborhood in Tempe.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the first floor if you have a large bag

The only reason I picked this motel was for the convenience of having the Park n Fly just a few miles from the airport.

Frat, the parn n ride is not "free", your room rate is about $20 more than without it. But still, it saves money compared to a paid parking lot.

The park and fly parking is out back behind the motel. it's not secured or protected in any way. basically you are just parking in the street. And this is not the best neighborhood in Phoenix. I was concerned for the safety of my car, but there were no problems.

The shuttle service to/from the airport was prompt and professional.

The parking parking lot of the motel itself is very poorly designed. There is only one entrance, and there is no easy way to exit the place. You have to go to the end of the parking row and hope there is an empty space so you can turn around.

The room itself was just OK. It was a very strange room, almost like they knocked down the wall between two small rooms to try to make one large room. It doesn't work. The small room has a very awkward couch, glass table refrig and microwave. The rooms were painted a weird sort of orange/tan/olive color, Painted over the rough stucco walls, it was ugggggg-ly.

The front desk clerk was very helpful answering questions for me.
