Charged too much for what we received. Dirty, trouble with internet access. Wanted to charge us a "Daily Resort Fee". but was not at All like the Resorts in Southern Cal that we belong to as HHMembers. Did not live up to it's name and expectation.

We have checked in very late at this hotel tired and exhausted but the staff at the front desk name
is Josephine she was wonderful, very polite and professional, the first three days of our stay rainy and cold, on the fourth day was sunny, we did go to there water park, it was beautiful place in this
hotel, it's like tropical paradise, we loved the layout, huge area with different elevation, my wife and my 12 years old son had a great time, waterfalls, water slides, pools everywhere, hot tubs, basketball court, 18-wholes of miniature golf course and very very helpful smiley staff, hands down
we can't ask better than that, .didn't want to forget to mention David at the front desk, he was professional polite and helpful, we didn't have to drive far distance to eat or shopping, everything close by within minutes, we do recommend this place to everyone and we'll come back again in few months.

We were only here 30 minutes. I had booked a bi-level Casita based on the images on their site, and the price was good. Upon entry, not only was the front door to our place open (we came in through the back door with no light switches nearby), but the room only barely resembled the photo. It felt dirty, the rooms were much smaller, the "balcony" was wide enough for a chair turned sideways, and offered a lovely view of a neighbor's room. The lounge chair they boasted in the photos stuck out so far you'd trip over it at night and likely fall down the steep stairs. The mini bar was locked and empty from the viewing window, and we were not provided a key. The final straw was that you could hear EVERYTHING as if your doors and windows were open. All this being said, Kathy, the manager, was gracious and accomidating, and allowed us to leave without paying for the whole stay, much less the evening. This was supposed to be a resort stay, and it very clearly was not. We had booked this as our honeymoon anniversary trip, as well as a stay to see our friends get married. I have never canceled a stay before, and I pray I never have to be so disappointed with hilton again, but I must stress, by letting us leave without penalty, they made it right. I appreciated that more than I can say, and will give Hilton another chance as a result.

Rooms were extremely loud - both from outside noise and adjacent rooms. Hotel staff never addressed noise from adjacent room that lasted until 4:30 AM. Bathroom was dirty and toilet ran constantly. Waited 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast when restaurant wasn't even busy and finally just gave up and left.

We decided to catch the last bit of heat in Phoenix before we settle in for the winter, and decided to try the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak this time rather than the Tapatio Cliffs we've stayed at before. Turned out very well.

We had booked a suite on points for a reasonable 30,000/night and got upgraded to a Casita, which is basically a third of a largish house. A nice spacious downstairs and a slightly cramped upstairs with two beds and a bathroom. The downstairs includes a stovetop, microwave, full size fridge, a TV/couch area, a dining table area, and a separate bathroom. Very spacious. You'll get a little tired of dragging your stuff up and down the stairs but whatever, the casitas are pretty great.

Ours was in the low 3000's, and was only a short walk from the pool/lazy river area. The poolside restaurant was shut down as it was off season. In fact the hotel was relatively empty. As Platinums we got chits for $11.50 x 2 at the hotel restaurant, Riccos? Anyway, it was very good, and offered either a buffer for like $17 or various breakfast dishes in the $12ish range. Our 3yo ate free.

The pool area was nice. Decent bar. Both a kid-friendly entry area to the pool (shallow) and a separate warmer "tadpool" where the toddlers tended to congregate. Next to the tadpool is a play area with a nice climbing apparatus.

You're not that near things like you are at Tapatio. So if you want to take a walk in the desert or whatever you'll probably be getting in your car. But the whole lazy river thing is really great and shouldn't be missed.

This is my 2nd visit to Hilton, Checkin was excellent fast and efficient ...
plus without asking we were given free Wi-Fi and told this would be removed at Checkout.
As we went in Oct the Hotel was not busy at all..Downside was Hole in the Ranch restaurant not open at all during our stay this was disappointing.
The food we had at breakfast at Rico's was nice but the service was slow and poor.
The food we had at the Slim Picken's was also not so good and so only had it the one time.
The evening meal at Rico's though was excellent and service was lovely so we eat there 3 times.
Overall this Hotel is fantastic for children and yes it is out-dated but our room was clean.I would stay again.

This Hilton property has great mountain views and is found in a neighborhood setting. The staff were exceptionally courteous as I made my reservation, extending a complimentary upgrade, and were just as pleasant upon check-in. The property is a bit dated, but to me, that is part up the charm! The lazy river water park is just awesome, but I think people thought we were crackers being in the water at this November date! I actually live in the area and suggest this property to friends and family so they can stay close-by.

Room Tip: If you check-in late, ask for a easy to locate room. Staff will escort you to your room, but it can...
