Very helpful staff. Shuttle to airport and metro line. Easy access into downtown. Nice hearty breakfast each day. Would definitely stay here again.

I didn't realize the Residence Inn formula when I booked. The rooms are larger than a regular hotel room (and actually less expensive). The Mariott a block away is 2X the cost.
They have some freebies in the evening, but I did not partake. Good free wifi. Nice and quiet, easy to get to. Inside rooms. Did not try the gym (some great running spots in Phoenix). Just a couple of miles from museums and the zoo.

Wonderful shuttle service....picked up at airport after dropping off rental car and then taken back to airport next morning. Driver was very helpful in suggesting places for dinner. The hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, nice clean linens. Only stayed one night but the accomodations were like having your own condo....seperate bedroom (with flat screen TV), roomy living room (also with big flat screen TV), a full kitchen with appliances(dishes & silverware inc.) and dining table w/chairs. Lots of closet space. Would definately stay longer next visit!!

We stayed 4 nights here, end of February, first of March. We wanted to stay near the airport, for a few days as we explored the Phoenix area with our rental car. The room was just like a cozy 1 bedroom apartment, complete with a kitchen and all utensils. There were BBQ's in the pool area that you could use too. Rooms were exceptional and relatively quit. Windows opened which is nice at this time of year. Breakfast (inclusive)was very nice, and the Manager's special at 6:00 pm was really a full dinner if you wanted it to be. Fantastic Chinese restaurant right across the street in the Chinese Cultural Center, and don't miss the Asian Supermarket there too. Outdoor pool is heated, and there is a hot tub. Hotel staff was exceptional , and very helpful. Airport Shuttle is available to go short distances to some of the attractions. Larry Turner, the G.M., was most accommodating and very helpful, as well as the other front desk staff and hospitality staff. Absolutely no hesitation to stay there again.

There is a reason people go to chains, and this is a good example of why. Everything was just right at this Residence Inn and I would definitely return there when back in the area. Reasonably priced too.

This is a good place to stay if you are spending some time in Phoenix. The rooms are spacious, quiet and extremely well equipped - you could easily entertain several people in your room. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful each time we dealt with him. The breakfasts are good and there is a "happy hour" on some weeknights with generous servings of wine or beer. The pool is a bit small but is good for a splash about and the hot tub is good too, although the proximity of some rooms makes you feel you are sitting in a goldfish bowl. The location is good with some restaurants in walking distance, bus stops outside and the light rail is about 10 minutes walk. They have a very good dining guide, arranged by cuisine and style. The only niggle was that the wi-fi was fiddly to access and on one occasion I gave up as it vwas so slow. But you can access the internet and print stuff in the lobby.

My co-worker and I were in town for a confernece and were staying a different hotel down the street that had been overbooked due to a computer system issue. They sent us to the Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Airport and paid for our first night, got us a great rate and we were very happy to have switched. The room was good, the hot breakfast was nice and free wi-fi is always appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. One area I would like to see changes in is the fitness area as it was small and only had 4 machines.
