My family of five stayed here for one night after arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor late in the evening. We received a good price on a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. It had 3 flat-screened tvs, living area with sofabed, a full kitchen and two bedrooms with a queen in each room. Rooms were very clean but place was a little dated. Breakfast in the lobby area was wonderful - lots of choices - make-your-own-waffles, scrambled eggs, and regular continental offerings. We didn't use the pool area but it was very nice-looking. Good choice for an airport stay!

The Residence Inn at the Phoenix Airport is the very best! I have stayed at several Residence Inns throughout the South and many hotels throughout the USA, and except for Hawaiian hotels and the JW Marriott in Washington DC, this is the best hotel of all of them.
We suffered through a day of flights and cancelled flights when we finally got a vouchure for a free night at an airport hotel in Phoenix. What a pleasant surprise - the shuttle driver was most informative, telling us about the Chinese Cultural Center across the street, and the various area restaurants. He actually offered to drive us to one and pick us up after we ate!
Once at the hotel, the night manager was most friendly and the room, although on the small side for a suite, was clean and quiet. After unpacking we talked to the night manager about local restaurants and chose to go to Ruby Tuesday. It's three blocks away, but the manager said it was a relatively safe walk, but gave us his card in case we wanted a ride back. It was a balmy evening, perfect for a walk. When we returned, he asked how the food was and if there was anything else he could do.
The morning buffet breakfast was amazing! They had eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, fruit, yogurt, many baked goods, oatmeal, cold cereal and the usual juices. All tasted very good! This was a Sunday - perhaps they make Sunday breakfasts better than weekday, but it was terrific!
All in all, you can't bet the Residence Inn at the Phoenix Airport for friendliness, cleanliness and good free breakfast.

Room Tip: I always ask for a room away from the elevator & ice machine.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were surprised at how quiet it was in our room considering we were close to the airport. The room was clean and well maintained. The service on the shuttle was excellent. My husband said he will stay at this hotel again when he has to travel to Phoenix again for business.

I have stayed at this property twice. The first time, the room key system went down for the entire stay. No problem, the staff called in all employees and escorted every guest to the rooms and opened the door. I am a Platinum Premiere member, whatever that means except having no life at home, and I was highly impressed with the attitude of all the employees. Rooms are great, the airport shuttle is awesome, and the folks who work there are either great actors, or really love their jobs and really like the guests. Breakfast was really good too. Real scrambled eggs:) I will stay there again in a second! Just know, it is not the Ritz, but it is a great place.

Room Tip: Tip the airport shuttle driver:)

I love staying at places with a kitchen & extras like evening snacks and a good, healthy breakfast. This residence inn is a little older & worn but they have done a good job of maintenance. I would definitely stay there again.

The service was phenomenal, all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Picked us up from the airport, shuttled us back and forth to the zoo, upgraded our room to a suite. Pool was awesome, breakfast was great. Hotel rooms and decor are dated but that's about the only area they could improve. Thanks!

My Wife and I stayed here for 2 days in January. The place isn't anything amazing, but they have a good complmetry breakfast and its location was perfect. We walked to the light rail a couple of times to get downtown and to Tempe. It was about 5-10 min walk or you can get them to shuttle you. Housekeeping was a little late to get to our room one day, but it was a great value.
