“Good hotel for the price”
Reviewed 9 January 2010

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. Overall, my husband and I were both happy with our decision. The highlight was definitely having a full couch in the room, as opposed to having to lay in bed to watch tv. Big tv in the room was nice as well. The bed was comfy and extra pilows were available at the front desk. If you're a light sleeper, make sure you request a room opposite the highway. The noise bugged my husband, but I slept just fine.
Breakfast was kind of disappointing. Bread, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. You could order a hot breakfast (as well as lunch and dinner) for a moderate price. Another definite perk was the wine for purchase in the lobby (until 11pm). That helped cap off our romantic night out.
Staff was helpful and polite. Lobby was comfy. Overall, a good stay.

Typical Hyatt Place; good accomodations and amenities but beware; DO NOT STAY ON THE FREEWAY SIDE ELSE NOISE WILL NOT LET YOU SLEEP. Be sure to ask for a room on the side opposite the freeway. free breakfast not very good; choice limited to juice, bread, a few fruits, etc. very limited hot choices for extra charge. large HDTV in room

Only have good things to say about this hotel. Located near Metro Mall, about 1 mile away, which is where we needed to be. Clean rooms, nice plasma television, nice linens and beds, nice bathroom. Breakfast included downstairs. I have no complaints and would definitly stay here again, without hesitation.

We had never stayed at the Hyatt Place prior to our trip. We relied upon Trip Advisor reviews to book our room. I'm happy to say that the reviews we spot on! The rooms were nicely appointed, very clean and very well laid out. The front lobby service was excellent and the staff friendly and courteous. The room was bigger and better appointed than a many other places I've stayed that were two and three times the money. I would definitely stay here again.

After a trip of staying in budget hotels this place was great. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Everything in our room and throughout the rest of the hotel was clean, nicely arranged, and just had a general comfortable feeling about it.

The pool was great but could use a good cleaning. Breakfast was good with some fresh fruit, and yogurt, in addition to the usual cereal, coffee, and bread.

There is one ice machine located on the third floor which seems odd to me for a four floor hotel as nice as this one.

The TV is nice but navigating channels was aggravating enough that I left it off most off most of the time. It has hookups so that you could play movies on it through your laptop etc. via component, composite, HDMI, etc. This could be very handy if you've got some down time with kids.

The location is great, right on I-17 and not far from I-10. Getting around was very easy, there is almost every restaurant you could want within 10 miles one way or another. Metro center was a 5 minute trip.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. The room was very nice, although it had double beds. The pool was nice, especially with the +40C weather. Great continental breakfast. Would recommend.

I've stayed here before in 2005 and the rooms were more more comfortable. This time I walked in the hotel and I was very shocked at the horible colors they used to renovate this hotel with it is truly unberable. My room was not very comfortable and the tv was to big for the room. The rooms were clean both time but they ruined this hotel bad. The people that worked there were alright but when I was there before all the people were nice. I just did'nt like the new decor it's to alaborate . The rooms Aren't as bad. I wish they would change it back
