“Great treats left daily in addition to breakfast basket; We'd come again”
Reviewed 16 February 2011

Incredibly nice and hospital owners; perfect location for walking and we enjoyed the fact new light rail was close by. Lots of reading materials in the room and the basket of treats that were stocked daily (this in addition to the daily breakfast basket) was a very nice treat.

We'll come here again in a second.

The rooms were great. Most comfortable beds I ever slept in and the area is quiet with much beauty. Fountains and plants make it most appealing . I would recommend this to everyone I know. Barbara Baker Nov. 2010

This was our second visit to this oasis in the desert. It was once again flawless. Beautiful Grounds. Friendly Innkeeper. Wonderful "picnic basket" breakfast. Relaxing, romantic, peaceful.

Stayed at Maricopa Manor for one night with our two girls (12 and 10) on our way from San Diego to Sedona. We were given a warm welcome and were the only guests (only europeans are crazy enough to visit Phoenix in the summer!). We stayed in the Palo Verde suite which was very comfortable. The furnishings are a bit dated but this is in keeping with the style of the 'manor'. The inn based around a courtyard design with a garden and small pool which are gorgeous. We arrived late and tired in 104 degrees and were given iced tea and the offer of laundry (at no cost). The new owners Scott and Joan could not have been more hospitable. As we were tired from the trip we went to the great supermarket across the road for salads and ate these on the patio. All our dishes were removed and cleaned for us. The breakfast was served in baskets in the garden and was lovely. The pool area is charming. This is a fabulous and really reasonably priced B&B.

Our savior, the Maricopa Manor and its generous and kind owner!! I and my girlfriend were stuck in Phoenix during one of the worst storms in decades and EVERY hotel in the city was booked. It was already 6 PM and after 2 hrs of searching we'd given up on our search for our lost luggage. My girlfriend said "What about a B&B?" So on my oh-so-trusty smart phone I googled "bed and breakfast" and Maricopa seemed like an interesting place. I called around 8 PM and the owner answered and agreed to let us stay! He even was kind enough to give us the "library" suite at a discount because of the late check in. Great food, service and decor. This place is awesome!

I stayed at Maricopa Manor with my boyfriend for a belated Valentine's Day getaway. Everything about the place was beautiful and very charming! I never would have expected such a gorgeous place to be just down the road from the likes of the Denny's on 7th and Camelback! Jeff was very friendly and attentive from the start, making sure my boyfriend and I had everything we needed, and recommended some great-sounding restaurants a short distance from the B&B. While exploring the grounds and also our room (we stayed in the Manor Suite), my boyfriend kept raving and marveling at how nice everything was, and all the little touches that made this place stand out above a chain hotel (namely the super comfy robes in the suite, and the spa and all the fountains outside). All the beautiful fountains around the grounds really helped mask the sounds of the city around us, and when we were in our suite, seldom a noise was heard. The "breakfast in a basket" idea is fantastic, both the food and the concept. Being able to eat a tasty, filling breakfast right in your room without even having to get dressed was wonderful. We also very much enjoyed the whirlpool tub, which our particular suite had. The king-sized bed was so comfortable, too! Thanks, Jeff, for providing such an unexpected and beautiful B&B right in the middle of town!
