Antelope Hills Golf Club - South Course

Attraction details
Owner description: Opened in 1992, the young trees appear to invite more liberal play. But strike the ball true! Lush fairways with challenging lies, lead to large but well-guarded, undulating greens. On the 7,014 yard, par 72 South Course the approach is the thing, the short game is the trial. Enjoy panoramic views of the area mountains-Granite Dells, Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte, and even San Fransisco Peaks near Flagstaff.

Nothing like the numbr of trees as on the north course but still a well maintained and interesting layout. As a result this can be busy.

Pro shop attendant rude and clearly did not want to be there. Finished front nine of South course at 3 (took one hour) and wasn't permitted to go play back nine even though they were "open" until 5. Let members go out but not me, a single rider and a more than competent player.

Turf is awful, thought cart was going to strand me, greens don't run true and tee area signs are barely readable which makes it hard for first time on the track.

I can't think of one positive thing to say. Brutal.

Only played the south course but it was wide open and not extremely challenging. Club house attendent was very personable and made sure that we were aware of what we needed to know. Did not play the North course but understand that it is lined with trees and a lot harder
