“Excellent Pizza, friendly service”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We had a large group of friends and family when we went to Rosa's. The staff got put a table together for us in about 10 minutes even though it was crowded. Pizza was wonderful, salads were great. We had a vegetarian pizza and a pepperoni pizza both were great. The salads were fresh and large enough for us to share.

It is normally crowded and a little noisy but we had a wonderful dinner.

“A Prescott Gem”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Everything on the menu is perfectly cooked, served hot and portions are enough for TWO! Try it and you will be hooked on Rosa's...hint, if you love good sandwiches you must go BEFORE 4pm to order them.

“Very Disappointed!, Food's Good BUT noise was unbearable”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We had the Sicilian Square Pizza and although a little too much cheese the sauce was terrific and the dough was crispy and not too thick.
BUT,
Even my wife thought the noise was intolerable...we almost left mid-meal, and for 5:30 on a Monday night we were dismayed. I mentioned the noise to our waiter and he said it's always noisy in here.
What surprised me the most was the added noise by the crashing of the dishes by the wait staff - as they loaded them into bins that were located right in the dining room. It almost seemed like they were trying to make as much noise as they could...?

RosasPizzeria, General Manager at Rosa's Pizzeria, responded to this review, 10 July 2014
Good evening,

I am very sorry that you were disappointed on Monday night because of the noise level. Rosa's is defiantly known as a loud, casual and fast pace establishment. It is extremely hard to keep the noise down at Rosa's, especially if it is a full house or filled to our maximum capacity. This building was built in the 1904 and due to a completely open dining room, the hard wood floors, and the tin lined ceilings, there is not much noise prevention built into the atmosphere; noises echo from the ceilings and the floors. I also sincerely apologize that plates were being put in the buss bin too abruptly. We train our buss staff and wait staff to to put plates away gently, for that same reason that it is far too loud when they don't. However, sometimes our staff is in a rush/busy and fails to put them away as carefully as they should. I will make it a point to retrain my staff on the importance of putting dishes away carefully for noise level purposes.

On a different note, I am very pleased that you enjoyed your Sicilian pizza.
We thank you for choosing Rosa's for your dining experience and hope to see you again.

Thank you and take care,
Maria Anzelmo

“Good Italian food in downtown Prescott”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We went out for dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Rosa's doesn't take reservations, so we knew there was going to be a wait. 45 minutes later, we were seated.

The place is on the small side but the tables aren't so close together that it makes walking to the restroom an Olympic event. Our waiter was good and kept things moving. We started by sharing an app of arancini with a side of marinara. It was very good if slightly different from others we've had.

Our mains covered different areas of their menu. We had a pizza, Rosa's chicken, eggplant parm and chicken piccata. All were excellent. Three of us took home leftovers. Along the way, we had some of their garlic bread to pass the time as well.

It's good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is loud and fun. We just wish they took reservations.
