“Cool joint. Rustic, perhaps...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Prescott. The location is a bit off the beaten path. In the back of another restaurant right off Granite Creek. The building is a bit rundown, but to me that adds to the charm. It appears to be fairly original. Breakfast is served all day long, but I opted for some lunch instead. The patty melt was tasty and came with a fairly sizable amount of French fries. The service was good and the menu was pretty large and diverse.

All in all, a very good experience.

N*joy...

“A place to eat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 October 2013

The service is good at this restaurant. Doesn't seem very clean. The chairs are rickety. We were afraid to move when sitting in them. The food is okay. Years ago this used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Usually we are in town for just a day so we always go to our favorite restaurants but we were in town longer this time and decided to give Dinner Bell another chance. There are better places to eat in town.

Average food, great service. Their burgers used to be a lot bigger than the one i had the other day.

“Out of the way and worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

During a recent visit to Prescott, on a SUNDAY morning, my wife and I wanted BREAKFAST. Sunday breakfast out in most cities means a long wait, lukewarm food, and so-so service.

We were originally planning breakfast at the Hotel St. Michael (a very good breakfast spot). Unfortunately TONS of other folks had the same idea. The restaurant area was jammed and in a state of total chaos. So we strolled down Gurley St. to the Dinner Bell and it was a great decision.

The service was FAST, friendly and efficient. My wife had a wonderful Greek 3-egg Omelet which she devoured (a rare feat to be sure), and I had Huevos Rancheros which were fantastic. The coffee was tasty and just kept coming. Sure the place was crowded, but it was Sunday breakfast time! If lunch is as good as breakfast was, we'll be stopping again.

“Hmmm”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2013

It took almost an hour to get breakfast and when it came it was lukewarm. I was afraid to send it back, because the dogs at home needed to be let out. Honestly, it was really good food, enchilada omelet. I'm going to give it a go at 6:30 in the morning and see if one can be served within a reasonable time frame.

Can't figure out how to remove bar scene rating, so I gave it 3 stars...no bar!!!
