Just went there for dinner with some relatives. I had the meatloaf sandwich. The food was excellent for the price that you pay. I also had beer with my meal, and the prices are unbelievable. For the sandwich and 2-22 oz. beers, my bill was $18.00! I have not found many places with this high of a quality food and such good pricing. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. I give it a 5 star rating for a restaurant with this type of food. It is not fine dining, but the food was good and the value is great!

Located in downtown Prescott this seems to be a popular choice with locals. We ate downstairs and it has a diner feel but the food was OK and reasonably priced.

For a town that has so many dog owners, there are surprisingly few restaurants in Prescott where you can take them. The Firehouse Kitchen is an outstanding exception. There is a dog-friendly outside patio area at ground level with umbrellas that provide shade. We prefer the balcony where there are two options once you climb a flight of stairs - an open area with barstool height tables or an area enclosed by a clear awning, complete with heater on cold days.
The cheerful and helpful servers always bring water bowls for our greyhounds. The people food is excellent, especially the individual sized pizzas during happy hour for $5. There's also an outstanding selection of beers on tap (try to the Kiltlifter) and other spirits.

We have been at the Firehouse Kitchen on 3 previous occasions and the food and service was very good. Since our last visit, in 2013, the restaurant has changed hands and it was not a change for the better.
After a short wait our server arrived and he proceeded to sit down at our table while he took our order. A new best friend we did not need.
We started with the fried calamari appetizer and for our entre a blue cheese hamburger, with fries and a BBQ Brisket sandwich with coleslaw. When the calamari arrived it was limp and bland, not crispy and flavorful. The hamburger and BBQ Brisket arrived on rolls and both rolls were like cardboard. The fries were limper than the calamari. The coleslaw was good. I would not recommend the Firehouse Kitchen.

We had another night for dinner in Prescott and had enjoyed the Osso Bucco and the happy hour on another visit.

Well, same again. The happy hour upstairs was good; wine is $4 a glass for house). Our only complaint is the amount of noise. The one man band was too much for small space but if you are younger maybe not.

We went downstairs for the dinner and again, Osso Bucco was great. We were the only patrons since it was an off night before big weekend. But the server was great and we didn't care.
